In-text name-claim Ch. 1051 — “a name that means invincible” (無敵 muteki)

During his accession speech as Shogun (p. 13), coached by Kin’emon to “bluff your heart out,” Momonosuke proclaims that his father Oden “gave me a name that means invincible,” and the closing narration adopts the framing — “the man who would later be known around the world.” The VIZ “invincible” renders Jp 無敵 (muteki, ‘no rival, peerless’) / 天下無敵 (tenka-muteki, ‘unrivaled in the world’). There is no literal kanji path from 桃の助 (“peach-boy”) to 無敵, so this is best read as an aspirational/rhetorical meaning — part Kin’emon-coached bravado, part the Momotaro hero-who-vanquishes-the-oni overlay running across the Kozuki-vs-Onigashima endgame (see the orphaned-Otama “the Kozuki will return and vanquish the ogres” flashback, pp. 9–11). Medium confidence as a layer; the underlying peach / Momotarō / Kinnosuke etymology above is unaffected.
