Summary
At Onigashima’s rear entrance, Kin’emon and Denjiro breach the Skull Dome in disguise and reunite with Izo, the ex-Whitebeard swordsman and Wano native who has chosen this night for his last stand. Meanwhile, with Orochi fallen, his two military forces capitulate to Kaido: Fukurokuju pledges the 5,000 Oniwabanshu ninja and former Mimawarigumi captain Hotei pledges 5,000 samurai — settling the Beasts’ “manpower question” while Hyogoro rages at their lack of warrior’s pride. Up on the performance stage, Kaido dangles Momonosuke over the edge and offers to spare him if he will simply deny being the son of Kozuki Oden and Toki. Despite his terror and tears, Momonosuke instead declares his full name and his destiny — “the man who will be Shogun of Wano… Kozuki Momonosuke!!” Kaido tries to kill him outright, but Yamato and Luffy reach the stage in time; Yamato renounces Kaido as a father. The Mink Kings Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are revealed alive alongside the Akazaya samurai, and as the Nine Red Scabbards leap upon Kaido with swords drawn, the Yonko — flashing back to the burning castle 20 years ago (“Never come back to Wano!!!”) — shouts a single name: “Oden!!” The raid is on.
New reveals
- With Orochi seemingly dead, his forces choose sides: Fukurokuju (Oniwabanshu, 5,000 ninja) and Hotei (former Mimawarigumi captain, 5,000 samurai) pledge allegiance to Kaido, resolving the Beasts’ manpower shortage (pp. 5-7).
- Izo — a former Whitebeard Pirate and Wano-born swordsman — is present at Onigashima and reunites with Kin’emon/Denjiro, joining the assault (pp. 4-5, 15).
- Kaido offers Momonosuke his life in exchange for renouncing his Kozuki lineage; Momonosuke refuses and proudly declares himself the future Shogun of Wano (pp. 8-12).
- Yamato openly disavows Kaido as a father (“I no longer think of him as a father!!!”) and reaches the stage with Luffy in time to save Momonosuke (pp. 13-14).
- The Mink Kings Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are revealed alive on the island, arriving with the Akazaya samurai (p. 14).
- Luffy’s sea-prism-stone cuffs are removed (p. 9).
- The Nine Red Scabbards launch their long-prophesied coordinated strike on Kaido (pp. 15-17).

Open questions raised
- Will the Scabbards’ coordinated strike actually wound Kaido — re-creating the scar Oden left?
- What is Yamato’s plan now that they’ve openly turned on Kaido?
- Where is Shinobu, and can she still reach Momonosuke?
- Now that Orochi’s 10,000 men serve Kaido, how badly outnumbered is the alliance?
