Wano Country — Oden’s execution (Ch. 972) — flashback

• Presides over Oden’s boiling execution; orders the heat raised when Oden refuses to die (“How is he still alive?! Raise the heat!!!”, p. 9) and silences the begging crowd (“Silence, trash.”, p. 5).

Wano Country — Oden flashback “Sentenced to Boil” (Ch. 971) — flashback

Wano — Oden flashback (Ch. 970) — flashback

• Breaks the Oden–Kaido duel by taking the eight-year-old Momonosuke hostage on the battlefield, forcing Oden to drop his guard for Kaido’s decisive blow; cackles “Kyo kyo kyo” over a cocked gun (pp. 13–14).

Wano Country — Oden flashback (Ch. 969) — flashback

• The architect of his own shogunate fraud: with Kurozumi Higurashi disguised as the late Shogun Sukiyaki (Clone-Clone Fruit), Orochi was decreed the shogun’s proxy and the whole country believed it; “that statement did not actually contain the shogun’s authority” — so he is under no obligation to cede the seat to the returned Oden (pp. 5–6).

• Backstory narrated by Kin’emon: after Sukiyaki’s death, Sukiyaki himself recommended Orochi as the next Shogun as Oden’s proxy; Orochi is a descendant of the Kurozumi clan “that caused that terrible incident in the past,” and had borrowed money from Oden (via “Yasu”) that he never repaid (p. 11).
• With Kaido’s backing he industrialized Wano — weapons factories on starvation wages, supervisors, and executions of resisters (pp. 12–13).

Wano — Oden-era origin flashback (Ch. 965) — full Kurozumi origin

• Full origin revealed: a destitute Kurozumi orphan, raised in poverty after his clan’s disgrace. An unnamed elderly Kurozumi woman shows him a “vision” of himself as shogun and recounts that his grandfather’s coup (poisoning the rival daimyos) was foiled by Sukiyaki’s birth (pp. 8–11).
• The crone gives him the Clone-Clone Fruit (Mane Mane no Mi) as the engine of his rise (p. 12).

Oden flashback — early grudge against Oden (Ch. 962)

• At Hakumai, Orochi testifies he witnessed Oden pocket missing money — “I saw Lord Oden slipping the money into his sleeve… I was too afraid to stop him” (p. 3). A fabricated theft accusation (a skeptic counters that Oden “would carry it right out in broad daylight”). An early on-page seed of Orochi’s antagonism toward the Kozuki/Oden. Oden flashback — origin as Yasuie’s manservant (Ch. 961)

• Kurozumi Orochi’s earliest on-page origin: introduced as a lowly manservant in the service of Shimotsuki Yasuie, Daimyo of Hakumai — “I am but a humble manservant by the name of Orochi… I’m honored to be in Lord Yasuie’s service” (p. 17, name caption “KUROZUMI OROCHI”).

Wano Country — sabotaging the raid (Ch. 959)

• Already holds exact intel on the secret raid (manpower, the four-thousand count, the rally ports) and acts on it, gloating “the intel is solid!! …I have the power to act upon them!!!” (pp. 12–13).
• Dispatches drawn-looking messenger birds carrying bombing orders; his forces destroy the great bridges between regions (Kibi–Udon, Ringo–Hakumai, Kuri–Udon) and the ships at the ports, cutting every route to Tokage Port in Udon (pp. 10–13).

Wano Act Three — departure for Onigashima (Ch. 958)

• Present-day: holds a feast at Habu Port and departs (already drunk) for Onigashima, leaving Kyoshiro to guard the capital. “Once a year, on the island of Onigashima… we’ve got a feast for 40,000 ahead!!” — Orochi’s and Kaido’s armies meet (pp. 6-7).

Wano Country (Ch. 953) — referenced; not on-page

Wano Country (Ch. 951)

• Furious the Straw Hats escaped, but gloats that capturing “this Trafalgar man” still bags two intruder ringleaders — orders him tortured “pliable.” Puts the capital on high alert (samurai + ninja in every quarter), papers the nation with wanted likenesses, and threatens any citizen who shelters or shields the intruders with “the crime of conspiracy” (p.3–6).

Wano Country (Ch. 945)

• Orders the Flower Capital purge: behead all of Yasuie’s “allies,” and capture a Straw Hat alive to torture for their objective (“Hawkins was right”) (pp. 2–4).

Wano Country — Rasetsu Town uprising (Ch. 944)

• Enraged by the uprising, screams for everyone who defies him to be eliminated — “Kill them! I command you!!” (p. 6).
• Hurried to the palace under Kyoshiro’s protection after a ronin (Zoro) nearly cuts him (p. 9).

Wano Country — the SMILE chapter (Ch. 943)

• Gloats over the public execution of Yasuie at Rasetsu Town, ordering the crowd to “laugh him into the afterlife” (pp. 5–6).
• His “greatest sin” exposed (flashback): he engineered Ebisu Town by seeding already-bitten, failed SMILE fruits into the leftover food trickling out of the Flower Capital, out of contempt for the destitute town — its people can now only laugh (pp. 12–13). Shown grinning among the SMILE masterminds with Kaido and Doflamingo (p. 11).

Wano Country — Yasuie’s execution (Ch. 942)

• Has Yasuie publicly executed at Rasetsu Town and broadcasts it across Wano on light-scrolls (soldiers warn it “may backfire… be on guard for rioting”, pp. 4, 7).
• Backstory (Yasuie’s account, pp. 10–11): ~20 years ago, after Oden’s death, Orochi confronted the four daimyo (“serve Kurozumi, or fight”) and — with Kaido — crushed the uprising and razed Wano; he “stole the shogun’s throne through deceit and chicanery.”
• His paranoia over Yasuie’s decoy crescent-moon symbol made him “apprehend innocent people just for wearing the moon symbol upon their skin” (p. 11). Taunted to his face by Yasuie — “A man of such small caliber… shall never in his life truly devour Oden!!” (p. 12).

Wano Country (Ch. 941)

• Rages over Oiran (top courtesan of Wano)‘s death (“Give back my Komurasaki!!!”) and is told her killing protected his reputation (pp. 3-5).
• Fixates on the captured thief Denjiro: his identity is “startling” — “But… HOW IS HE ALIVE?!!” (the man is Lord Yasuie, i.e. Tonoyasu) (p. 4).
