  • Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin) is defeated by Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law — she falls into the sea when a single armory bomb blows the bottom off Onigashima.
  • A homie's 'Silence' extinguishes all sound created by Big Mom's influence, stopping her from speaking her Soul Pocus and from commanding her homies Prometheus and Hera.
  • Yamato encased the armory's explosives in ice so only one bomb detonated, sparing Onigashima from a chain-detonation of the whole arsenal.
  • Zunisha is revealed (relayed by Momonosuke) to be a companion of Joy Boy who committed a crime 800 years ago — the reason it has only been 'allowed to walk.'

Summary

On the Performance Floor beneath Onigashima’s dome, Big Mom refuses to fall — even on the brink of death she turns her Soul Pocus on Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law, demanding 50 years of their life span or servitude (p. 3). The two rookies feel no fear; Law calls a fresh Re-Room and Kid taunts the “old hag who’s outlived her welcome” (p. 5). One of Big Mom’s homies, trying to protect her (“I’ll save you, Mama!! This is what my savior would have done”), unleashes a Silence that extinguishes every sound her influence creates — abruptly Big Mom cannot speak, cannot command, and cannot call her sun-homies Prometheus and Hera to save her (pp. 6–9). Intercut is a flashback to the dawn of the Great Pirate Era: the old generation curses Roger’s execution words — “when those kids rise up all over the world… who[’ll] have to deal with them?!” — the wasted warning of the title (pp. 10–12). Kid and Law’s combined assault, plus a single armory bomb that Yamato had frozen down from many, blows the bottom clean off Onigashima and drops Big Mom into the sea: the Performance-Floor battle’s winner is “Captain” Kid and “Surgeon of Death” Law — an Emperor is beaten by the new generation (pp. 13–14). In the aftermath, the adult-dragon Momonosuke makes telepathic contact with the world-elephant Zunisha, which is “very close by”; Zunisha is glad Momonosuke is well, cannot leave its task — and is revealed to be a companion of Joy Boy who committed a crime 800 years ago (pp. 15).
