Summary
On the Performance Floor beneath Onigashima’s dome, Big Mom refuses to fall — even on the brink of death she turns her Soul Pocus on Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law, demanding 50 years of their life span or servitude (p. 3). The two rookies feel no fear; Law calls a fresh Re-Room and Kid taunts the “old hag who’s outlived her welcome” (p. 5). One of Big Mom’s homies, trying to protect her (“I’ll save you, Mama!! This is what my savior would have done”), unleashes a Silence that extinguishes every sound her influence creates — abruptly Big Mom cannot speak, cannot command, and cannot call her sun-homies Prometheus and Hera to save her (pp. 6–9). Intercut is a flashback to the dawn of the Great Pirate Era: the old generation curses Roger’s execution words — “when those kids rise up all over the world… who[’ll] have to deal with them?!” — the wasted warning of the title (pp. 10–12). Kid and Law’s combined assault, plus a single armory bomb that Yamato had frozen down from many, blows the bottom clean off Onigashima and drops Big Mom into the sea: the Performance-Floor battle’s winner is “Captain” Kid and “Surgeon of Death” Law — an Emperor is beaten by the new generation (pp. 13–14). In the aftermath, the adult-dragon Momonosuke makes telepathic contact with the world-elephant Zunisha, which is “very close by”; Zunisha is glad Momonosuke is well, cannot leave its task — and is revealed to be a companion of Joy Boy who committed a crime 800 years ago (pp. 15).
New reveals
- Big Mom is defeated by Kid and Law. First on-page fall of an Emperor of the Sea this raid — she is blasted off the island into the water below (pp. 13–14).
- A “Silence” technique counters Soul Pocus. A homie nullifies all sound from Big Mom’s influence; without her voice she cannot command, cannot Soul Pocus, and her homies (Prometheus, Hera) cannot hear her (pp. 6–9).
- Yamato froze the armory. Yamato encased the explosives in ice so only one bomb went off, preventing the whole arsenal from detonating at once (p. 15).
- Zunisha = a companion of Joy Boy. Relayed by Momonosuke: the world-elephant committed a crime 800 years ago and is “a companion of Joyboy” — the on-page reason it has only been “allowed to walk” (p. 15).

Open questions raised
- What was the crime Zunisha committed 800 years ago, and who sentenced it to “only walk”?
- In what capacity was Zunisha a “companion of Joy Boy” during the Void Century?
- Did the homie that cast “Silence” act of its own will, and whose “savior” did it mean to emulate?
- Is Big Mom truly out of the fight after falling into the sea, or will she resurface?
