Chapter 1041: Komurasaki

Summary

Zunisha, the colossal elephant of Zou, reaches Wano’s shores and tells the dragon-form Momonosuke it has come to fight at his side — “just as Oden anticipated,” confirming Momo as the one who will guide the world to the dawn. Across Onigashima the raid resolves its undercards: Raizo battles Fukurokuju on the Third Floor; in the Treasure Repository, the courtesan “Komurasaki” — actually Kozuki Hiyori — reveals she pinned Orochi with sea-prism-stone nails so he cannot transform, declares she never loved him, and unmasks herself as Oden’s daughter; and in the burning castle basement Izo makes a last stand against CP-0, telling Kiku to survive as he takes an agent down with him. The Five Elders issue an edict to CP-0: eliminate Straw Hat Luffy at once, to avert a “worst-case scenario” they know only by rumor. Word spreads that Big Mom has fallen to Law and Kid; Kaido senses Linlin “lost the fight” and flashes back to their youth as Rocks crewmates who swore to claim the One Piece together. Luffy, refusing to stop, throws his final Gear Four Snakeman — Hydra — and vows to drive Kaido out of Wano if it is the last thing he does.

• Zunisha has arrived at Wano and can communicate with Momonosuke; it has “come to join the fight at your side,” fulfilling what Oden anticipated of the heir who guides the world to the dawn (p. 2).
