Summary

On the burning side’s slope, the centaur “boss” of Punk Hazard recognizes Trafalgar Law — Law healed and helped him escape during the Marineford war — and Luffy gushes that he owes Law his life “like Jimbei.” Law, now revealed as a Warlord who earned the title by shipping 100 pirate hearts to Marine HQ, treats Luffy’s wounds on a whim, warns “you and I are both pirates,” and slips away just as Vice Admiral Smoker and Tashigi charge in with the G-5 Navy. Law effortlessly downs Smoker (a hole already in his chest) and Tashigi, then withdraws around the back of the lab, telling Luffy “we each have something to regain… we’ll meet again.” Inside the blizzard-side ruins, the body-swapped “Team Sanji” group reunites with “Team Zoro” (Zoro, Usopp, Robin, Brook) amid freezing children; the samurai from Wano — still in living pieces (talking head, two-sword torso, running legs) — uses a Devil Fruit power to conjure coats and shoes from objects placed on their heads (rocks — no leaves/grass on the island) to save the kids from the cold. Reassembling the story, the crew learns the samurai came to Punk Hazard hunting his missing son Momonosuke, was sliced into three pieces by the Warlord Law, and stuck his legs to “the back of a dragon’s head.” Finally Smoker’s people find a CC-logo ship hidden by the lab; Tashigi reasons that “CC” can only be one man — the mad ex-Vegapunk scientist and weapons-of-mass-murder authority Caesar Clown — naming the operation’s hidden master.

  • Law cut the samurai into three pieces. The Wano samurai’s head identifies the Warlord (“It was THAT man!!”) who “quickly cut my body into three pieces… locking my head inside, leaving my torso to rot, and sending my legs to be fed to wild beasts” (pp. 17). His legs had got stuck to “the back of a dragon’s head” (p. 17).
  • The samurai seeks his missing son, Momonosuke — “I know my Momonosuke must still be in there!… to rescue my missing son” (p. 16); he had been cutting down centaurs only because they “stood in the way of my quest.”
