A kingdom in the New World, first named on-page Ch. 672 (where Vergo says he “was spending time in Dress-rosa” and rode an S.A.D. tanker from there to Punk Hazard) and first shown Ch. 682 (intro caption “DRESS-ROSA, IN THE NEW WORLD,” p. 6). Home base of Warlord Donquixote Doflamingo / the black-market broker “Joker,” from which he runs his underworld network and remotely directs Caesar’s Punk Hazard operation. Depicted as a sunny, flower-strewn, resort-like palace setting. Doflamingo’s subordinates Baby 5 and Buffalo are stationed here; cameras are sold in town (referenced by Vergo’s plan to photograph Law’s corpse).

• Ch. 700 — “The land of love and passion” — the arc lands on Dressrosa: the royal palace, a populace in panic over the abdication, Doflamingo’s officers (Trebol, Diamante, Baby 5) in the throne room, the renowned fighting Coliseum (“booming as always”), and the kingdom’s “brawny-lookin’” island silhouette as the Sunny arrives (pp. 4, 15–19).
• Ch. 701 — the alliance’s strike team makes landfall at the port town Acacia (p. 12). Dressrosa is billed as “the Land of Love, Passion and Toys”: flower fields, gourmet cuisine, passionate dances, living toys that coexist with citizens, and folk “legends of fairies” (p. 14). A long bridge runs north from Dressrosa to Greenbit (Kin’emon’s map, pp. 6–8). The day after Doflamingo’s abdication the city is conspicuously calm and orderly — “I’d have figured the place would be in outright chaos by now” — with thugs still policed under “the Don Quixote name” (pp. 13, 16). • Ch. 703 — “the land of love and passion”: streets of couples (“Lover’s Lane,” p. 9), passionate dancers and stab-happy locals. The dancer Violet (“DANCER VIOLET,” p. 7) flees armed “policemen” and recruits Sanji; Zoro’s sword is taken by a “fairy”/“dirty thief.” The Corrida Coliseum tournament for the regrown Mera Mera no Mi opens — Luffy enters disguised as the gladiator “Lucy” (No. 0556); the arena runs under the Don Quixote family’s special laws (police/navy barred, pp. 12-13).
• Ch. 704 — the Corrida Coliseum tournament for the Mera Mera no Mi fills with fighters “from all over the New World” (550 entrants). Named “the most mysterious statue in all of Dressrosa” is the Statue of Kyros — a peerless gladiator no living citizen can remember (p. 15); the gladiator Rebecca (“the undefeated woman”) tends it. The Don Quixote Family name (p. 6) is shown to command the kingdom’s fear (“Mingo”).

• Ch. 705 — the kingdom runs on multiple fronts: the Corrida Colosseum tournament, the café/Green Bit briefing, and the street where CP-0 (the WG’s supreme intelligence branch) is sighted (p. 11). The day after Doflamingo’s “resignation” the country runs “as if nothing changed” — flagged as suspicious (p. 10); the Donquixote family still holds Kanjuro hostage and uses Punk Hazard footage to corner Kin’emon (pp. 13–14).

• Ch. 707 — Dressrosa maintains a Self-Defense Forces military, whose commander Tank Lepanto is shown moonlighting as a paid mercenary for the foreign tactician Dagama of Prodence in the Corrida Colosseum Block B (pp. 5–6) — an early crack in the kingdom’s surface order.

• Ch. 711 — the kingdom’s “fairy” folklore is literalized: beneath the offshore forest of Green Bit lies the hidden underground Tontatta Kingdom, home of the Tontatta dwarves who have a grudge against Doflamingo and covertly map the Donquixote Family’s positions. In Port Town Acacia Zoro chases the dwarf scout Wicca; at the Corrida Colosseum Block C assembles and the toy soldier begs Rebecca not to fight; and the Caesar hand-off at Green Bit’s southeast beach is exposed as a trap (pp. 6, 10–19).

• Ch. 712 — the citizenry rages at Doflamingo’s apparent abdication (“Don’t tell us you’re quitting!! Your Majesty!!”) until CP-0 arrives and orders the news buried as a “false report / mistake,” to be corrected at 3 PM “as if nothing ever happened” (pp. 10-11).

• Ch. 718 — a vast flower field (“Flower Hill”) on Dressrosa hides a staircase entrance to the underground passage linking the kingdom to Greenbit and the Tontatta Kingdom (pp. 2, 8). The Riku Royal Army (the anti-Doflamingo resistance, Riku) keeps a staging base in the flower field, where Zoro and Franky are mistaken for the dwarves’ legendary heroes (pp. 9–11).
• Ch. 720 — the kingdom’s dark underbelly is revealed: those who cross the Donquixote Family are condemned to the Corrida Colosseum’s underground “Cells” as prisoner-gladiators, forced to fight to the death, shot if they flee, promised freedom only after 1,000 wins (pp. 12, 18). A decade ago, before Doflamingo became king, the arena battles were not death matches — the first on-page marker of the ~10-year span of his rule (p. 18).

• Ch. 721 — backstory (~10 years prior): the Riku dynasty, which ruled Dressrosa “for centuries,” was deposed when the “Riku royal army” torched the towns and palace and Doflamingo was crowned the new king, branding the Rikus greedy oppressors. The deposed line — Rebecca, her mother Lady Scarlett (killed in the coup), and her grandfather the “old king” — is openly reviled by the populace (“scum of the Riku dynasty”). The kingdom’s Toy Laws (toys must return to the “house of toys” at night, may not cohabit with humans) are named.

• Ch. 723 — the Corrida Coliseum is on lockdown (p. 3) as the Navy rings the kingdom; the royal palace hosts Doflamingo’s officers (Gladius, Baby 5) reacting to Violet’s betrayal (pp. 4–5); an iron bridge links the kingdom to offshore Greenbit, where Law fights Doflamingo (p. 16 map).

• Ch. 726 — beneath Dressrosa lies a vast scrap-heap undercity / trade-port and factory where the discarded toys, garbage, and the “rebellious losers” are dumped out of sight, and where the deposed King Riku hides and anchors the resistance. King Riku frames Doflamingo’s Dressrosa as a “world of light, of the winners,” the losers swept underground “to make the rest of the place look nicer,” and warns of “an even deeper darkness beneath this” (pp. 12–13). The ~800-year Riku dynasty history is established (pp. 14–17).

• Ch. 727 — the Riku Dynasty and the fall (flashback): the Riku Dynasty ruled Dressrosa for 800 years without a single war (pp. 4–5). Ten years ago Doflamingo seized the kingdom by framing King Riku — extorting 10 billion berries, then puppeting the king and his royal soldiers into a massacre of their own disarmed citizens (the “Parasite” frame-up, pp. 14–19). New on-page town: Sevio (“Southern Town, Sevio,” p. 14 — King Riku’s location on the visual-transponder-snail map).

• Ch. 728 — the coup completed (flashback): Doflamingo toppled the kingdom in a single night — the hollowed-out King Riku was puppeted into robbing and killing his own people until the citizenry cursed him, whereupon Doflamingo “rescued” Dressrosa (“I’ve come to save this kingdom!!!”) and was crowned the new king (pp. 8–11). King Riku is spared and still alive, in hiding somewhere in Dressrosa; his daughter Princess Viola (Violet) becomes a Donquixote officer to keep him alive (p. 12). Beneath the city lies “the Scrap Heap,” where discarded toys are dumped and forgotten (p. 18).

• Ch. 732 — beneath the city, the underground world is mapped: the House of Toys under the Royal Palace (the living toys’ nightly barracks) and a gigantic hidden underground trade port (“like a gigantic PORT TOWN,” p. 19) housing the hidden factory, reached via a tunnel from the Flower Field (the Riku Army’s operation HQ). Franky storms the House of Toys as a diversion while Robin, Usopp and the Tontatta infiltrate underground; Leo details the full Donquixote org chart (~2,000 soldiers). • Ch. 733 — the underground revealed: beneath Dressrosa lies a shadow trading port and a multi-level underground mapped by the Tontatta: a Lift (connecting Royal Palace ↔ House of Toys ↔ Trading Port, seized this chapter by the toy soldier), a Tunnel, the hidden factory floor (where Franky hunts Pink; see A SMILE Production Factory Hides Somewhere In Dressrosa), central drawbridges, and the sea-urchin-shaped Officer’s Tower (Trebol + Sugar). The dwarves move stowed-away among the smuggling ships (pp. 7–8, 12).

• Ch. 735 — new on-page sub-locations: the Royal Plateau lift up to the palace; a hidden Riku-Dynasty escape shaft (stairs + a cargo pulley) unknown to Doflamingo, opened by Viola (pp. 4–7); the Toy House (site of Franky’s raid against officers Pink & Machvise, pp. 8–13); and the palace’s “Suit Chamber” (Doflamingo’s audience room, where Admiral Fujitora confronts him, pp. 14–17).

• Ch. 736 — the palace complex mapped: an external outer-tower ward with secret entrances (the route Luffy’s team takes), an underground House of Toys port, and a lift running between the trading port and the palace (pp. 11, 16–17). Pica can rise up out of the palace’s own stone as a giant stone monster to bar intruders (pp. 18–19).

• Ch. 737 — the underground exposed: pipes from all over the kingdom funnel broken people and toys to a scrap heap at the base of the Officer’s Tower, beside a black-market trading port that ships the kingdom’s weapons; the royal palace is shown to be stone the enemy officer can control.

• Ch. 791 — Liberation amid the rubble. Doflamingo is defeated and the Birdcage and his strings vanish, freeing the city — now largely rubble — after ten years of his rule (pp. 7, 10, 17). Citizens, gladiators and former toys “rejoiced and wept amid the rubble,” reclaiming the kingdom to restore the honor of the deposed King Riku. The underground Dock / Underground Trading Port is captioned on p. 5.
• Ch. 903 — the restored kingdom sails to the Reverie. Dressrosa’s royal delegation (with Princess Viola) departs for the Holy Land and is ambushed by pirates en route, before Navy HQ Captain Koby’s rescue of the convoy (p. 9). See Meeting of Kings.
