Zou — the seafaring history; goes to find Marco (Ch. 820)

• With Dogstorm, reveals that he and the dukes rode aboard Roger’s and Whitebeard’s ships as Lord Kozuki Oden’s retainers (pp. 2–9); his memory of Roger’s crew “is hazy.” Verbal tic “Yougara” (≈ “you guys/you-all”) throughout.

Zou (Ch. 819) — Oden’s direct vassal; the minks’ hidden ace; Luffy’s escort

• Named one of Oden’s direct vassals (“me and Dog are Lord Oden’s direct vassals”); recounts being beaten by Jack’s forces only because of the gas weapon (p. 6).

• Chosen by Luffy to escort him to retrieve Sanji from Big Mom — Luffy comically mis-names him “Lion Viper” (pp. 14–15). Revealed: he and Dogstorm were once the closest of friends, now lethal rivals after a shared long journey left them “close to death” (p. 15). Zou (Ch. 818) — tells the Kozuki/Oden backstory

• With Momonosuke, relates that the Kozuki Clan created the poneglyphs as stonemasons, that the reading-teaching was cut short in Oden’s generation, and — through tears — that Oden was executed by the Shogun of Wano and Kaido and had sailed with Roger to Raftel (pp. 12–17). (Attribution hedged where the page does not name the speaking duke.)

Zou (Ch. 817) — first clear appearance; the Kozuki-crest tattoo; ceasefire

• First clear full on-page appearance (first_appearance SET 0817): reveals the Kozuki Clan crest tattooed on his back (p. 2) — matching the one Raizo bears. A sworn Kozuki retainer who served Kozuki Oden and is loyal to the heir Momonosuke.
• Feuds with co-king Dogstorm until they call a ceasefire “by the power of Kozuki,” shaking hands as King of Night and King of Day (pp. 4–9). Reunites with the found-alive Raizo. See Kozuki.

Zou (Ch. 816) — the Dog-vs-Cat clash; the Raizo + brotherhood reveal

• One of the two rulers of the Mokomo Dukedom (the “monster cat”); now missing a paw; storms Kurau City demanding “Bring me Raizo!!!” (p. 6, 8–9).
• Brawls with Dogstorm the moment they meet; the fight is broken up by Electro before it turns fatal (p. 9–11).

Zou — greeting Straw Hat Luffy (Ch. 815)

• Rouses despite his wounds to greet Luffy with a “Garchu of Gratitude” headbutt; spits up blood (still hurt from Jack’s assault) and is rushed to Chopper (p. 10–11).
• On hearing the Straw Hats worried for him, declares a feast — “It’s a feast, then!! Bring the drinks and snacks!!!” (p. 14). Addresses the crew with his verbal tic “Yougara” (≈ “you guys”).

Zou (Ch. 814) — shown in person; the indebted-ally vow

• Shown in person in his Whale Forest domain — a huge, fluffy, lasagna-loving cat-mink, the King of the Night, who lost his left paw in Jack’s attack yet refuses bed-rest, calling himself “a man who loves his freedom” (pp. 14–16). Luffy keeps mis-naming him (and the day-king “Lion Viper”).

Zou (Ch. 811) — named “Cat Viper” again; still not shown

Zou (Ch. 810) — named again (referenced); the “cat’s curse” hint

• In the siege flashback, referenced as one of the two kings Jack could not topple alone (p. 7). The gravely wounded Pedro names “the Cat Viper” and begs the crew to save him (p. 16); a mink curses Jack to “lie dead from a cat’s curse” (p. 10) — an early hint of the Cat Viper. Named/referenced — not clearly depicted this chapter.

Zou (Ch. 809) — the Cat Viper title card; the Shanks/hat seed

• Featured under the “Cat Viper” title card (p. 17) — the cat-mink King of the Night and Whale Forest Guardian, formerly fast friends with co-king Duke Dogstorm, now a bitter rival of equal strength; the two split day/night so they never meet.

• Named as one of the Mokomo Dukedom’s two kings — the King of the Night, “the Cat Viper” (page 15). His domain is the Whale Forest, and he holds sway after sundown; Luffy’s group, arriving at night (“even though the sun is down”), is led into his forest. Only named this chapter — not shown. Wano Country — Onigashima Raid (Ch. 987)

• On the Dome Roof with the Mink warriors brought from Zou; delivers the cliffhanger pun — “the purrfect night… to watch the full moon” — as snow falls and Sulong is primed under the full moon. (Page 19)
