Executed at Loguetown. His final speech (“My treasure? It’s yours if you can find it… but you’ll have to search the whole world!”) launched the Great Pirate Era — the opening panel of the series. Per Ch. 967, Roger reached Laugh Tale and laughed; said he was born too early to fulfill Joy Boy’s wishes. His crew included Shanks (apprentice).
