Chapter 1034: Sanji vs. Queen

Summary

Two fronts run in parallel. High above, Momonosuke — in dragon form — reveals he has grasped the knack of Kaido’s flame clouds: he cannot push Onigashima back up, but as long as he can hold it he will not let it fall on the Flower Capital and its people. Below, in the streets of the Skull Dome, Sanji battles Queen. Queen — who has researched and recreated all of Germa 66’s science — deploys recreated Germa attacks and eye-beams, gloating that “Judge’s sons are the amalgamation of all of his scientific tech.” Sanji, his body now changed, fights back without his raid suit: he turns invisible from sheer high-speed movement, and internally confirms he has developed an exoskeleton with legs tough enough to channel even hotter flames. He debuts Ifrit Jambe, snarls “stop treating me like their family,” and finishes with a long volley of French butcher-cut kicks that launches Queen across the dome. A courtesan subplot threads through: the oiran Osome, number-one girl since Komurasaki’s “death,” is harassed by senior courtesans while the panicking citizens try to flee Wano. “To be continued.”

Internal monologue (p. 13): with armament Haki added, his body “has developed to the exoskeleton,” his legs are tougher and can support “even hotter flames” — exoskeleton, muscle, and speed all increasing his strength. • Sanji can now turn invisible without the raid suit — Queen notes he “doesn’t have his suit on,” so the vanishing is pure high-speed movement, not Stealth Black tech (p. 11).
• Momonosuke has grasped Kaido’s flame-cloud technique “because I am a dragon just like him” — he can’t push the island up but can stop its fall onto the Flower Capital (p. 3).
• Queen recreated all of Germa’s science independently — “I’ve already researched and tested all of Germa’s science… I can re-create any move you brothers can do” — and waited until Sanji “transformed” to deploy them to one-up Judge (pp. 6–7).
