• The warrior the visiting samurai are looking for. Keeping night watch, the crews conclude “the Raizo they seek is not here!! There is no point in coming in!!” (p. 15). At dawn Kin’emon presses a monkey-mink sentry: “I only seek a warrior known as Raizo… you must show us the way!!” (p. 17). Named/sought only — not shown on-page this chapter.

Zou — confirmed alive (Ch. 816)

• The two dukes (Dogstorm and the Cat Viper) reveal to Kin’emon and the Straw Hats that Raizo is alive and well — the minks hid and protected him, enduring the destruction of their millennium-old city rather than betray him (p. 14–17). Zou — found alive; the title reveal (Ch. 817) — first on-page appearance

• First on-page appearance (first_appearance SET 0817): found alive and chained in Zou’s whale-tree under the title card “Ninja of Wano, Raizo of the Mist” (p. 12). Bears the Kozuki crest. Furious at first (“the wrath of Raizo”), then overjoyed to reunite with Kin’emon, Kanjuro and Lord Momonosuke (pp. 12–13).

Wano Country — Onigashima: the Water of Zou (Ch. 1046) — chapter namesake

• Chapter title character. Coordinates with Jinbei to put out Onigashima’s fires. Recalls in flashback that 20 years ago, despite his ninjutsu, he failed to protect Lord Oden’s family from the flames of the burning Oden Castle (“I failed Lord Oden that day!! But I swore never to let that happen again”) — naming Lady Hiyori, Lord Momonosuke and Lady Toki (pp. 11–12).
