Profile

Kozuki Toki — wife of Lord Kozuki Oden and mother of Momonosuke and Kozuki Hiyori. She possesses a “Time-Time” ability (Toki Toki no Mi) that lets her leap forward through time but never return to the past. She was not born in Oden’s era but “long, long ago,” and travelled forward through the ages until she arrived at his time. Shown only in flashback this window.

Arc-by-arc updates

  • Casts her prophecy and launches the children/retainers 20 years forward: “cast nine shadows on the night woven of 20 years… you shall know the brilliance of the dawn… may your purpose be fulfilled” (pp. 11–12). See Toki’s Dying Prophecy Casts Nine Shadows Across Twenty Years, The Kozuki Time-Leap.
  • Recalls Oden’s words to her: “You are the moon unaware of the dawn” (p. 11).

Wano — Oden’s execution (Ch. 972) — flashback, alive (voices the 20-year prophecy)

  • Voices her prophecy directly on-page: in ~20 years the primary figures of a great war “will muscle their way into the New World,” there will be “a massive war terrible enough to split the seas themselves,” “a long winter will settle over Wano,” and “they are the ones who can strike down Kaido” (p. 18). See Toki’s Dying Prophecy Casts Nine Shadows Across Twenty Years.
  • Oden, dying, entrusts her with the time-leap (“If I should die… I want you to use your power, Toki”) and asks her to give the children his swords; she refuses to be seen crying — “We are not your weakness!!” — and tells him “Look ahead, Oden — to 20 years in the future!!!” (p. 19). Sets up The Kozuki Time-Leap.

Wano — Oden flashback “Sentenced to Boil” (Ch. 971) — flashback, alive (shields the children from the execution)

  • Shields young Momonosuke and Hiyori away from the crowd as the execution begins; tells Momonosuke he is “meant to one day carry this nation on your shoulders. Because your father is a great man…” (p. 2).

Wano — Oden flashback (Ch. 970) — flashback, alive (at Oden Castle with the children)

  • At Oden Castle with Momonosuke and Hiyori; receives Yasuie, sent by Oden to protect them — “If Oden loses this battle… is lost!! Then this country…” (p. 8).
  • Confronted at the castle by a hooded kunoichi (“Are you after my life, then?”); keeps the children calm as they await Oden’s return, unaware of his sentence (p. 16).

Oden flashback — restrains Oden (Ch. 969) — flashback, alive

  • Restrains the furious Oden from rashly attacking Orochi over the barrier-sorcery humiliation: “If you get angry over something trivial like this… the enemy will strike back again… No, Oden!! Don’t do it!!” (p. 2).

  • Reunites with Oden in tears; revealed to have become a beloved figure in Kuri, working alongside the townsfolk and keeping Oden’s reputation alive in his absence (pp. 8–9).
  • Wounded (arrow to the leg) when Kaido’s men infiltrated Oden Castle — she used her own body to shield Momonosuke from their arrows; the wound has since healed (pp. 13–14).
