• Defeated by Dog Storm (Inuarashi)‘s Oden One-Sword Style “Canine Cleaver” — “Lead Performer of the Animal Kingdom Pirates… Jack the Drought, down and out!!” (p. 17); the avenging Mink king closes the loop on Jack’s earlier razing of Zou. See Destruction of Zou.

Wano Country — Onigashima Raid, treasure room (Ch. 1023)

• Routed by a Sulong Inuarashi when moonlight floods the treasure room; shocked — “How… have you turned Sulong?!”

Wano Country — Onigashima Raid (Ch. 1008)

• Reaches the treasure repository, bloodied (“That took longer… than I anticipated!!”); addresses the “King of the Day” (Inuarashi’s epithet) and squares off against the volunteer Ashura Doji while the other Scabbards leave to guard Momonosuke (pp. 11–12).

Wano Country — Onigashima Raid (Ch. 1005)

• In mammoth hybrid form, bears down on the mortally-wounded Akazaya Nine on the third floor; told the Akazaya “are not so weak that the Tobi Roppo could manage to kill them” and warned “don’t get involved” — which he takes “as an insult” (p. 16).

Wano Country — Onigashima Raid (Ch. 991)

• Overwhelmed and badly wounded by the Sulong-transformed Minks; apologizes to Kaido (“I have failed you… Master Kaido”), who consoles him (“this does not make you weak!! … you did well to keep the Sulongs in check”) (pp. 13–15).

Wano Country — Onigashima Raid (Ch. 988)

• Swarmed by the Sulong minks and the ninja Raizo on the Skull Dome Live Floor; he had already gone up to the rooftop with the others before the worst of it (“Unlike you, he was considerate enough to leave”) (pp. 2–6). See Destruction of Zou.

Wano — Onigashima (Ch. 925) — shown

• Shown alive on Onigashima, chewed out by fellow Lead Performers King and Queen (“Got that, Jack the Stooge?!”); apologizes, “I’m sorry, brothers” (pp. 16-17). “Kuri’s cut is pathetic” — faulted for the region’s tribute.

Wano Country (Ch. 922) — shown wounded; recovering in the Kuri forest

• Alive but badly wounded. Back in Kuri, treated by his men in the forest after his clash with Shutenmaru (“Master Jack!! Don’t move, we’re stopping the bleeding”); remarks it was strange that Kaido “suddenly showed up in Kuri” (p. 9).

Wano Country (Ch. 921) — reappears on-page; fully recovered

• Reappears, fully recovered after his defeat at Zou. Sent by Kaido to bring in the thief boss Shutenmaru as a subordinate; rides his mammoth into Okobore Town (caption: “Animal Kingdom Pirates Lead Performer — Jack,” p. 13).
• Trades heavy blows with Shutenmaru (pp. 13–16), then instantly snaps to obey Kaido’s dragon-summons (“Yes, sir!!”, p. 18) when the Emperor’s dragon descends overhead.

Wano Country (Ch. 917) — mentioned only

• Confirmed alive. Wano locals state that although “his ships sank into the ocean” at Zou, “he is not dead in the least — he arrived here several days ago” and now “sits in control of Kuri” as Kaido’s right-hand (pp. 8-9). Resolves the survival question left open at Ch. 821 (see Destruction of Zou). Townsfolk fear that angering him would “reduce this entire town to a desert wasteland” — his “the Drought” calamity epithet restated. His Headliners Speed and Holdem enforce the Kuri regime below him.

• Jack’s attempt to recapture Joker (Doflamingo) ended in failure — stated as the trigger that ends the Emperor Kaido’s SMILE arrangement (“no more Gifters”), as the crying-drunk Emperor laments the loss (p. 10).

Zou — fleet destroyed by Zunisha (Ch. 821)

• Fleet destroyed. Jack’s five-ship fleet bombards Zunisha’s leg (“concentrate fire on the left front leg!!”; “it’s just a feeble old geezer”) but is annihilated when the elephant swings its trunk; a giant mammoth (Jack’s Zoan form, Zou Zou no Mi, Model Mammoth) and the ships are swept into the sea (pp. 5–16). Zou — alive at sea; SHOWN (Ch. 817)

• Shown alive and bandaged aboard his fleet at sea — “Do I look dead to you?!” — his crew assuring him he looks “very alive” (p. 1). Establishes that the Zou attacker survived his failed assault on Doflamingo’s Marine escort and is sailing onward. See Jack Survived And Sails Back To Sea, Destruction of Zou.

• Continuing the minks’ flashback, “Master Jack” — repeatedly called “just an underling of Kaido” (pp. 3, 7) — pressed a five-day siege on Zou demanding “the warrior from Wano,” torturing and crucifying minks, then deployed a poison-gas weapon that immobilized the island (pp. 2–10). Even at full strength his power was “not enough to topple our two kings” alone — the siege was a stalemate broken only by the gas (p. 7).

• Named as the destroyer of Zou. Wanda: “The name of the one who ruined our land… is Jack!!!” (p. 17). Reduced the centuries-old Mokomo Dukedom to ruins ~half a month ago; the mink population vanished “without a trace.” Affiliation and motive are withheld; he is not shown this chapter. See Devastation of Zou Ghost-Town Found.

Zou (Ch. 806) — referenced; not shown

• The minks and a news article recount Jack’s deeds (pp. 8–9): he had given the minks an ultimatum — “Hand him over, or your land will fall into ruin!!!” — over a hidden person they claim not to know; and he attacked the four-battleship Marine convoy escorting the captured Doflamingo (plus a ship bearing an admiral and the former fleet admiral), “sank two ships but went down in the attempt,” though he is “most likely still alive.” Called “a man with more than a few screws loose.” See Kaidos Raiders Hunt A Samurai On A Mystery Island, Jack Sacrifices Ships Attacking The Marine Convoy Escorting The Captured Doflamingo.

Revealed as “Jack the Drought,” Lead Performer and “Captain of the Mammoth” of Kaido’s Animal Kingdom Pirates, and a trusted confidant of the Emperor Kaido (p. 4) — “one of his three closest associates, each of whom is named after a disaster”; called the Drought because the lands he passes through “become as barren and decrepit as if hit by a drought.”
