Summary
On the Performance Floor of the Skull Dome, the Oniwabanshu and Mimawarigumi captains (Hotei, Kazekage, Daikoku) lie defeated by Hyogoro’s legendary yakuza — but the yakuza themselves now succumb to Queen’s contagious Ice Oni virus, with bosses Yatappe and Ohmasa turning into oni. Queen gloats that the plague is his “masterpiece,” made to convert his own dying soldiers into weapons, and taunts the doomed Pleasures and Waiters. At the eleventh hour Chopper — derided as “Mr. Raccoon Dog” — completes a cure: he cultures the antibodies into a curative virus and, with Miyagi and Tristan, fires it across the floor as a healing mist (Chopperphage Nebulizer), curing thousands at once, friend and enemy alike. Queen’s own Pleasures and Waiters turn against him; with Marco’s assist Chopper downs a Rumble Ball and headbutts Queen in Monster Point. Elsewhere Momonosuke, wracked with self-doubt, transforms into his eel-like dragon form and flees with Shinobu. In a Guest Parlor, two CP-0 agents recall that the World Government once held Kaido captive and had Vegapunk extract his bloodline elements to build an artificial Devil Fruit — judged a failure and stored at Punk Hazard. Finally, at the Treasure Depository, the samurai cured by Chopper’s mist awaken to behold a figure they take for the long-dead Lord Oden.
New reveals
- The artificial Devil Fruit’s origin (p.15): CP-0 agents recount that “back in the days when the Navy had [Kaido] held captive,” the WG had Vegapunk extract Kaido’s bloodline elements and use them to create an artificial Devil Fruit. Kaido “was never happy with the results, and considered it a failure”; the government took the fruit, which was stored at Punk Hazard ever since. (Inference: this is the same artificial Zoan Momonosuke ate in Punk Hazard’s secret room.)
- Punk Hazard postscript (p.15): per G-5’s reports, one of the labs survived the explosion that demolished Punk Hazard and “was still functioning at the time.”
- Ice Oni is a deliberate bioweapon (pp.4-7): Queen calls it “my masterpiece… in a sense, I made it just for you,” and frames killing his own infected soldiers as letting their deaths “serve a glorious purpose” — “we can always find more soldiers.”
- Chopper’s cure as a counter-virus (pp.9-12): rather than inject thousands one by one, Chopper bases a good virus on the antibodies and disperses it as a mist via cannon — the “Chopperphage Nebulizer” — curing the whole floor; he credits the crew’s two-year split-up training “for this.”
- Defection on the Live Floor (pp.11-13): Queen’s Pleasures and Waiters, cured by Chopper, turn on Queen — “we’d rather die on the side of the guy who saved our lives.”

Open questions raised
- Who is the figure resembling the dead Kozuki Oden at the Treasure Depository? (cliffhanger; identity not given on-page)
- When and why did the Navy hold Kaido captive, and what became of Punk Hazard’s surviving “still functioning” lab — does another artificial fruit exist?
- Is the artificial fruit stored at Punk Hazard explicitly the one Momonosuke ate? (strongly implied; not stated verbatim)
