Summary
Yamato hauls a struggling Luffy away from the Skull Dome while a battered Ulti and Page One — both knocked down by Yamato’s “Thunder Bagua” — fail to give chase (pp. 1-6). On the performance stage, the Beasts Pirates jeer over the captured Momonosuke, broadcasting the “scandal” that the Kozuki heir survived Oden Castle’s fall by leaping twenty years into the future via Toki’s power; the disguised raiding samurai and Nico Robin grit their teeth and wait for their moment (pp. 7-8). At the rear of the island, Law surfaces the Polar Tang to land the rest of the Akazaya by “Chambres” into the snow, while Marco flies Nekomamushi and a freshly-fetched Izo in — reuniting Izo with his sister Okiku (pp. 9-13). Bao Huang relays that Big Mom is inside the castle and on her way; Kaido takes the stage and declares he will liven up the brat’s execution by explaining the “New Onigashima Project” (pp. 14-15). In the castle attic, Yamato finally tells Luffy his story: as a child he declared “I want to be Kozuki Oden,” witnessed Oden’s execution twenty years ago, and now keeps Oden’s voyage journal — his “bible.” Yamato wants to open Wano to the world and fight at Luffy’s side. The chapter closes on the caption “Kaido’s daughter (self-styled Kozuki Oden) Yamato,” with Luffy grinning, “You remind me of Ace!!!” (pp. 16-17).
New reveals
- Yamato is Kaido’s child, who idolizes the late Kozuki Oden and self-styles as Oden — “Kozuki Oden was a man, wasn’t he?! So I chose to be a man too!!” The chapter caption reads “Kaido’s daughter (self-styled Kozuki Oden) Yamato” while Luffy and Kaido refer to Yamato as a “son” (p. 17).
- Yamato witnessed Oden’s execution 20 years ago — “the Hour of Legends” — and was inspired to carry on Oden’s will now that “the Akazaya samurai are dead” (pp. 16).
- Yamato found Kozuki Oden’s voyage journal in Kuri and calls it his “bible”; it records Oden’s adventures and “very important things,” and Kaido’s crew doesn’t know it exists (p. 16).
- Yamato wants to open Wano’s borders to the world and “fight on [Luffy’s] side” (p. 17).
- Izo — former Whitebeard 16th Division Commander — is brought to Wano by Marco and reunites with his sister Okiku (“Izo!!! Brotherrr!!”), confirming the present-day arrival of a Whitebeard officer to the raid (pp. 12-13).
- Kaido takes the stage and announces he will explain the “New Onigashima Project” in tandem with Momonosuke’s execution (pp. 14-15) — content withheld to the next chapter.
- The Beasts Pirates publicly broadcast that Momonosuke is the surviving Kozuki heir who time-leaped twenty years via Toki’s power (pp. 7-8).

Open questions raised
- What is the “New Onigashima Project” Kaido is about to explain? (p. 15)
- What does Oden’s voyage journal contain, and how much of the “secret of the world” did Oden record in it? (p. 16)
- Why is Yamato kept shackled on Onigashima — what binds Kaido’s own child to the island? (pp. 4-5)
- Will Yamato truly side with Luffy and the raid, and inherit Oden’s will as an outsider to the Kozuki bloodline? (p. 17)
- Why did Marco come to Wano now, and will he join the assault? (pp. 12-13)
