  • In a 'Cave Chamber' inside the castle, Scratchmen Apoo deduces the navy spy (X Drake) for what he is and pitches an opportunist end-game alliance — let the combatants exhaust each other so the eventual winner is 'at death's door,' then seize everything; Drake refuses to trust him.
  • Kurozumi Orochi, beheaded by Kaido but alive in serpent form, finds the dying Kanjuro and urges him to perform his 'final dance' depicting the Kurozumi clan's burning hatred; Kanjuro obliges and dies, his last drawing being KAZENBO — a ghostlike eternal-flame apparition that passes through walls and sets the whole castle ablaze.
  • Orochi reveals Kaido keeps a huge armory of weapons beneath the castle (weapons Orochi had him create); Yamato races to the basement armory to slow the island's descent and prevent a catastrophe, coordinating with Momonosuke.
  • Kid asks Law whether his powers have awakened; Law confirms his Op-Op Fruit can awaken but the stamina cost is extreme and would cost him the battle — he reserves it as a last resort. Both Kid and Law hold a 'last resort' in reserve.
  • Kid + Law combo on Big Mom: Law's 'Anesthesia / Kroom' drives shock waves from within her body and 'Wille / Shock' makes her bleed; Kid's 'Assign' magnetizes Big Mom and pulls the collapsing tower's metal beams and weapons onto her, burying her under a massive 'CLASH.'

Summary

A chapter built around the fall of the proud (its title from The Tale of the Heike: the temple bell that “echoes the impermanence of all things”). In a Cave Chamber inside the burning castle, Scratchmen Apoo — flanked by giant Numbers — corners the navy spy (X Drake) and pitches an opportunist alliance: let the Yonko and invaders grind each other down until the victor is “at death’s door,” then seize it all; Drake rejects him. On the stairs, Komachiyo hauls the wounded escapees up as fire spreads — Nami, Tama, Usopp (in his “Poo” oracle disguise), and a battered Kin’emon regroup, trade the rebellion’s secret crescent-moon sign, and Usopp borrows the giraffe-mount Hamlet and rides off, leaving Tama in the group’s care. Deeper in, Orochi — beheaded by Kaido yet alive in serpent form — finds the dying Kanjuro and urges his “final dance”; Kanjuro draws Kazenbo, an eternal-flame apparition that glides through walls and turns the castle into a sea of flames, then dies. A fleeing Orochi reveals Kaido’s secret armory beneath the castle (weapons Orochi commissioned), and Yamato races to the basement to slow Onigashima’s descent toward the Flower Capital, telling Momonosuke to do the same. Below, Kid and Law team on Big Mom: Law confirms his Op-Op Fruit has awakened (reserved as a last resort) and drills her with Kroom/Wille; Kid’s Assign magnetizes her and drops the collapsing tower’s metal beams and weapons onto her in a burying CLASH.
