Summary

A global-cutaway interlude that frames “Wano, Act Two.” On Gloom Island, Perona reads that Gecko Moria is alive and storms off Mihawk’s castle to find him; Mihawk notes “an odd subject has arisen at the Reverie” and decides it is a good time for him to leave too. At Fullalead — the Blackbeard Pirates’ Pirate Island in the New World — Moria rampages with his zombies demanding Teach and Absalom, only to learn the crew already killed Absalom: Shiryu of the Rain now carries the Clear-Clear Fruit’s invisibility, Catarina Devon (Dog-Dog Fruit, Mythical Model Nine-Tailed Fox) offers Moria the corpse, and Blackbeard himself — captioned “Emperor of the Sea,” bounty 2,247,600,000 — arrives mid-quake to invite Moria aboard. Narration sweeps the wider world (the Revolutionary captains’ Mariejois raid to rescue Kuma, their clash with Admirals Ryokugyu and Fujitora, Big Mom giving chase) before cutting to Wano: at Atamayama in Kuri, Inuarashi and Ashura Doji duel to a draw and Kin’emon’s regrouping scabbards confront Ashura over his refusal to serve the whole Kozuki clan; at Amigasa Village, Otama frets over the captured Luffy; and on Onigashima, Lead Performers King the Wildfire and Queen the Plague berate Jack.

• Gecko Moria is alive. Presumed a “war casualty” after Doflamingo cornered him at Marineford (Ch. 581), he resurfaces assaulting Fullalead with his zombie army (p. 4-5).
• Shiryu of the Rain is now invisible — he killed Absalom and took the Clear-Clear Fruit (Suke-Suke no Mi) power for himself (p. 6-7). Absalom is dead; his corpse is being kept (p. 8).
