Summary
Luffy ends his duel with Caesar Clown: as the Master tries one last bribe (“you wanna work for me?”), Luffy answers with Gum-Gum Grizzly Magnum, smashing Caesar through a wall and clear off the island. The takedown reverberates “around the New World,” where unseen powers scramble — “inform Mama,” “tell Jack,” “Joker will not take this lying down,” “I suspect they have an alliance, inform the world.” Inside the lab, the allies race the spreading Land of the Dead gas: Usopp directs Chopper (carrying the unconscious Mocha) by Den Den Mushi toward the R-66 gate, the only escape route, while Law fumes that Luffy wrecked the clean kidnap of Caesar the plan called for. Above the sea, two Donquixote Pirates assassins — Baby 5 (her body becomes weapons) and Buffalo (his body spins like a typhoon) — fly in on Joker’s orders, bickering about Baby 5’s inability to refuse anyone. A tanker explodes, hurling Caesar straight to them; Buffalo radios Dressrosa, and Doflamingo orders Caesar collected and brought home — boasting that with Caesar still under his control he can always make more S.A.D. As the assassins move to grab Caesar, something appears on the deck: a robot, and a bird.
New reveals
- Luffy KOs Caesar Clown with Gum-Gum Grizzly Magnum, launching him off Punk Hazard; Caesar’s final play is to try to recruit Luffy.
- The defeat is news “around the New World” — off-page powers demand “inform Mama” (Big Mom), “tell Jack,” “inform the world”; they read a Luffy–Law alliance and call it “no longer a matter of mere criminal business.”
- First mention of “Jack” — an unidentified New World figure, named only.
- Doflamingo (“Joker”) is shown on his throne in Dressrosa, ordering the assassins to collect Caesar and return; “with Caesar still under my control I can always make more S.A.D.”
- New: Baby 5 — Donquixote servant/assassin, Buki Buki no Mi (“Arms-Arms Fruit”), whole body becomes weapons; compulsively cannot refuse anyone (“8 times… 8 towns”).
- New: Buffalo — Donquixote fighter, Guru Guru no Mi (“Spin-Spin Fruit”), body revolves; airborne via spin; technique “Storm Gust / Matasaburo.”
- Escape mechanics: the gas Land of the Dead floods Structure B; the only way off the island is the R-66 gate, using the cart that hauls S.A.D.
- Law is furious Luffy smashed Caesar away rather than capturing him cleanly per the alliance plan.

Open questions raised
- Who is “Jack,” the New World figure the off-page powers want informed?
- What are the “robot” and “bird” that appear on the deck at the cliffhanger?
- Will everyone reach the R-66 gate and ride the S.A.D. cart off the island before the gas catches them? (See Punk Hazard’s Captive Children — the children’s rescue is still in progress.)
- Now that Caesar has been launched off-island, can the alliance still capture him before Doflamingo’s assassins do?
