The family’s earliest shown era, operating out of Spider Miles in the North Blue with a suit-coded officer structure and recruiting orphaned children:

Era: North Blue origin — the four-officer structure (Ch. 764)

The flashback names the Family’s executive tier: “four officers,” one of whom is Corazon (Doflamingo’s blood brother, the ♥ Heart seat). Vergo was “the previous Corazon” — establishing a succession on the Heart/Corazon executive seat — now on a separate top-secret mission “even the officers don’t understand” (p. 7). Young Baby 5 and Buffalo are crew (p. 10).

Notable events

  • Ch. 692 — crew name first printed on-page (Baby 5 / Buffalo debut captions); Joker dispatches Baby 5 and Buffalo to collect Caesar Clown and bring him back to Dressrosa as a controlled S.A.D.-production asset.
  • Ch. 695 — the retrieval fails: agents Baby 5 & Buffalo are defeated by the Luffy–Law alliance (Nami’s “Thunder-Breed Tempo” + Usopp’s Pop-Greens), and Caesar is re-secured. The agents also out Law as a defected former high-ranking member for whom the “HEART” seat is held open — “Are you really turning against Joker?!” (p. 9).
  • Ch. 700 — the crew is named on-page as the “Don Quixote Family” (p. 2) with a vast underworld weapons trade (“WITHOUT OUR WEAPONS, THE WAR IS LOST!!!”). On-page at Dressrosa: Doflamingo (leader) with officers Trebol, Diamante and Baby 5 in the throne room; the family runs Dressrosa’s Coliseum and a hidden SMILE factory.
  • Ch. 702 — the family’s officer-gladiators guard the Corrida Coliseum prize (the reborn Mera Mera no Mi): Diamante (“hero and champion of the coliseum”), Pink, Dellinger, Lao G, Machvise — “all the family’s leaders should be in attendance” (p. 12). A captured rank-and-file thug knows nothing of SMILE or the “factory,” underscoring how tightly Doflamingo compartmentalizes the SMILE supply (pp. 8–9).
  • Ch. 704 — the crew is named on-page again as the “Don Quixote Family” (p. 6), this time as the power that recommended Bellamy into the Corrida Coliseum tournament — establishing the family’s influence over the coliseum’s entrant roster. The name “Mingo” alone makes a Dressrosa bystander recoil, underscoring the fear the family commands.
  • Ch. 705 — the “Doflamingo family” is named as the controller of the hidden SMILE factory the Straw-Hat allies are hunting (the Barto Club’s Gambia vows to torture its location out of a family bigshot, p. 3); the family’s men hold Kanjuro hostage and use Punk Hazard footage to corner Kin’emon (pp. 13–14); despite Doflamingo’s “resignation” the kingdom still runs under “the Don Quixote name.”
  • Ch. 711 — the family’s “resignation” trap springs: over the snail, Law reveals “Doflamingo never quit the Seven Warlords” and the Caesar hand-off is a set-up; Doflamingo mobilizes all units to Green Bit’s southeast beach (“…it’s too late for that,” p. 19). Meanwhile the hidden Tontatta dwarves are revealed to harbor a grudge against the family and to be covertly mapping the Donquixote Family’s positions (Wicca reports them to “the captain”), while the family’s people have been surveilling the dwarves in turn (pp. 12, 14). Seeds The Tontatta Dwarves Secretly Plot Against The Donquixote Family.
  • Ch. 712 — Trebol Army assassin Violet (Glare-Glare Fruit) is shown interrogating the captive Sanji, then defects, attacking her own faction (p. 8). The Family’s grip survives the staged resignation — CP-0 retracts the abdication so Doflamingo keeps the Dressrosa throne and Warlord seat. Doflamingo confronts Law on Green Bit (pp. 14-15, 19).
  • Ch. 714 — A Trebol Army officer, Giolla, attacks the Thousand Sunny near Dressrosa with an art-transformation Devil Fruit, on the “Young Master’s” orders to capture Momonosuke and seize the ship (pp. 2–6). Inside the Corrida Coliseum, the family (with Diamante) relays Joker’s order to Bellamy — assassinate “Straw Hat” before the tournament ends to earn a full-officer seat (p. 9).
  • Ch. 718 — officer Giolla (the “Art-Woman,” Art-Art Fruit) attacks the Thousand Sunny off Dressrosa, warping the ship and crew into “modern art”; she names a different family member — Sugar — as the one who turns people into toys (pp. 12–14). Meanwhile Doflamingo duels Law on Greenbit, reveals the Corrida Colosseum tournament was bait for Luffy, demands Caesar’s heart, and declares the alliance over (pp. 15–17). First on-page evidence the family’s conflict with the Tontatta dwarves spans nine centuries (King Gancho, p. 7) — implying an ancient lineage.
  • Ch. 722 — Trebol Army officer Giolla (the “Art-Woman,” Art-Art Fruit) has hijacked the Thousand Sunny off Dressrosa and is sailing it to Greenbit — felled by Brook (pp. 12–17). In the Tontatta flashback, Pica is named on-page as one of the family’s three top officers (with Trebol and Diamante) who wiped out the Dressrosa Army ten years ago (p. 12). Doflamingo reveals on-page (pp. 18–20) that the Donquixote BLOODLINE is one of the twenty founding Celestial-Dragon families — the DISTINCT noble lineage Donquixote (≠ this pirate crew).
  • Ch. 723 — the family’s card-suit army structure is shown on-page: officer Gladius is captioned “Pica Army ♠” — an officer under Pica’s spade-suit army (p. 5). At the royal palace, Gladius and Baby 5 react to Violet’s defection (pp. 4–5). Aboard the stolen Sunny, Giolla gloats that the master “never even quit the Warlords” — the resignation was a trap (p. 9). On Greenbit, Doflamingo flies to attack the alliance directly and is intercepted by Sanji (pp. 17–19).
  • Ch. 727the Dressrosa conquest (flashback, ~10 years ago): the crew engineers the takeover of DressrosaDoflamingo frames King Riku via the “Parasite” puppet-massacre, manufacturing nationwide hatred of the king (pp. 14–19); an officer (unnamed on-page) waits on Doflamingo’s cue — “Hey! Hey! Is it time yet, Dofy?!” (p. 19).
  • Ch. 729present-day family enforcement at Dressrosa.
  • Ch. 731officer activity at the Coliseum and the underground. Diamante relays Doflamingo’s kill-order on Bellamy and then blocks his execution as “a family matter”; Sugar (Trebol Army special officer, the toy-transformation power) is named as kept under Trebol’s constant protection “due to her vital role”; Lao G’s group is dispatched to guard the “house of toys” (pp. 2–11).
  • Ch. 735officers defend the Toy House; the final’s lone officer-combatant.
  • Ch. 736the officer trinity in the palace assault; Diamante’s fruit revealed.
  • Ch. 737the palace defense + the Officer’s Tower exposed.
  • Ch. 739the Family’s atrocity exposed; officers across the assault.
  • Ch. 740officers across the palace assault.
  • Ch. 744the family’s grip unravels across Dressrosa.
  • Ch. 745the Birdcage deploys; the death-game begins.

  • Ch. 752Dressrosa flashback: the day a dying young Law forced his way into the crew; Doflamingo’s brother Corazon named.
  • Ch. 755the SMILE Factory exposed; its manager Kuween.
  • Ch. 762the family at Spider Miles, North Blue (the Corazon flashback).
  • Ch. 763flashback-era roster: child Law made an official Family member.
  • Ch. 765the Family “jumped ship”; the muster for the Rubeck deal.
  • Ch. 766the Family hunts the traitor on Minion Island.
  • Ch. 767the traitor killed; the family driven off Minion Island.
  • Ch. 768present-day order-of-battle across the New Royal Plateau; officer epithets.
  • Ch. 769flashback: the borrowed jolly roger; present-day: Law dismantled, Bellamy discarded.
  • Ch. 771 — officer Lao G defeated by Sai (Drill Dragon Nail) on the plateau battlefront and dropped into a crevice; “two officers fall” as the gladiator alliance grinds down the officer tier. Baby 5 continues openly aiding the Straw Hats against the Family.
  • Ch. 777officer attrition tally; Baby 5 openly defects. Family heads continue falling to Straw-Hat-aligned warriors: Pink (the SMILE Factory) and Diamante (to Kyros) are now down; per Viola’s broadcast count, only four major powers remain — Doflamingo, Pica, Trebol, and Bellamy the Hyena (p. 7). Baby 5 openly defects from the family — “You have betrayed us, Baby 5” (p. 12).
