Profile

A special officer in the Trebol Army of the Donquixote Pirates and the user of the toy-transformation power formally named the Hobby-Hobby Fruit. Her power turns anyone she touches into a toy and erases everyone else’s memory of the victim; the fruit also freezes her own age, so she appears a young girl despite being far older. Because incapacitating her would undo every transformation and restore the kingdom’s lost memories, she is kept under the constant protection of Trebol, one of Doflamingo’s highest officers, and is the named target of the Riku Army’s Operation Dressrosa S.O.P.

Dressrosa (Ch. 774 — referenced) — revived by Mansherry’s power

• Referenced only (off-panel): confirmed present at the factory and revived by Princess Mansherry’s Heal-Heal Fruit under Giolla’s coercion (“You just used your power to revive Sugar…”, p.7; “Sugar is there too, isn’t she?!” / “She is.” → “the enemy has unlimited numbers,” p.11). Complicates the Ch. 758 “permanently sidelined” framing; Leo downs Giolla before the revival gambit can re-arm Sugar against the alliance.

Dressrosa (Ch. 759 — referenced)

• Referenced as knocked out “again” (off-panel); the combat toys she created revert to human form as a result, and it is revealed the Donquixote Family had fused its own soldiers “eight people in one” via her power (pp. 2–3).

Dressrosa — fainted again; the Hobi Hobi threat sidelined (Ch. 758)

• Revived and closing on Luffy to erase him with a touch (Trebol: “If Sugar touches him, we’ll even forget about Luffy!!!”, p.6); instead Usopp’s terror-face rocket re-triggers her trauma and she faints again — permanently sidelining the Hobby-Hobby Fruit threat (p.14-15).

Dressrosa — awake again at the new palace (Ch. 756)

• Regained consciousness at the new palace (Usopp’s terror-face only knocked her out — “for two or three days at least” was the expectation — but she’s awake early; pp. 10–11). Refuses the sausages offered her (“I only snack on grapes!”), rages at all long-noses, and vows to re-toy the whole country — “starting with that detestable long-nose,” whom she’ll “turn into a Headcracker doll.” Apologizes to the “young master” (Doflamingo). Dressrosa — knocked out; the curse breaks (Ch. 743) — the payoff

• Knocked out (collapsed on-page pp. 2–3, after Usopp’s assault the prior chapter), which breaks her curse across all of Dressrosa: every toy she ever made reverts to human and every erased memory returns at once (pp. 4–13). Revealed as the linchpin of the regime’s decade-long control of the kingdom (“our decade of hard work”).
• Her fruit’s formal NAME, the Hobby-Hobby Fruit, prints on-page for the first time (p. 5) — see the fruit note’s §Devil-Fruit name gate.

Dressrosa — erases Kyros (flashback); then faints (Ch. 742)

• Flashback: turns Kyros into a one-legged toy and erases him from all memory — the mechanism behind the forgotten coliseum legend, shown in full (p. 11).
• Present: Doflamingo orders Trebol to bring her to the palace (“Bring Sugar to the palace now, Trebol!!”, p. 17); before that, force-fed a Tatababasco grape she gags and — at the sight of Usopp’s terror-face — passes out (“She passed out!!!”, pp. 18–19), loading the collapse of her toy-curse. Dressrosa — the grape stand-off at the underground port (Ch. 740)

• At the officers’-tower underground port, fends off the Tontatta + Usopp assault — turning each attacker into a toy on touch (erasing them from everyone’s memory) as the group is whittled down one by one (pp. 18–19).
• Refuses the “grape” the dwarves try to feed her to knock her out — “It must be poison” — dodging Operation S.O.P.’s payload (pp. 18–19).

Dressrosa — Kyros, her first mistake (Ch. 739) — referenced

• Backstory exposition (via Leo to Usopp): Kyros was the first person Sugar turned into a toy, ten years ago — but she made “her first and only mistake,” forgetting to bind him with the memory-erasing “contract,” so he alone kept his will and has resisted the Donquixote Family ever since (pp. 18–19).

Dressrosa — the toy-trap sprung (Ch. 738)

• Confronted in the underground officers’ tower by Leo’s Tontatta army; nearly talks them into leaving, then — when they attack — turns them into “Little Black Bears!!!” toys (p. 13) with her toy-transformation power (the Hobby-Hobby Fruit; the fruit’s formal NAME still prints Ch. 743).
• Seals the toy contract live on-page (“…until the end of thy life… thou shalt obey my orders,” p. 14) and the memory-erasure effect (the transformed dwarf “Flapper” is no longer recognized — “Has everyone forgotten about me?!”, pp. 14–15); orders the new toys to “slaughter everyone” in the tower.
• Realizes it is a Straw Hat trap and screams “It’s a trap!! Trebol, come back at once!!” — recalling her guardian Trebol (pp. 15–16).

Dressrosa — the toy contract shown (Ch. 737)

• Flashback shows her power in action (pp. 14–16): her touch (“POP!”) turns a person into a toy bound by a contract — “Thou shalt obey the family’s orders” / “Thou shalt not harm humans” — that the victim cannot disobey or even speak against, and that erases them from everyone’s memory (“Nobody remembers you no more!!”). Dressrosa — the Operation S.O.P. target (Ch. 733)

• Appears as a named map portrait at the Officer’s Tower alongside Trebol on the Tontatta underground map (p. 8) — the target of Operation S.O.P., “the quest to reach the Officer’s Tower and knock out Sugah” (pp. 7–8). Not shown in a scene this chapter.

Dressrosa — the House of Toys; the Family org chart (Ch. 732)

• Placed on-page in the Family org chart as an Officer of the Trebol Army (“Special Powers Team”) (p. 14). Trebol personally guards her in the House of Toys, reassuring her amid Franky’s attack — “nobody even knows about you” (p. 11). The Tontatta infiltration plan is built around reaching and KO-ing her: “knock Sugar out and turn all da toys… back into humans!!!” (p. 3), confirming she is the keystone of Doflamingo’s hold on Dressrosa. Shown eating grapes (pp. 2, 11).
