Dressrosa coup — backstory (Ch. 728, flashback) — abducts Princess Viola

• Flashback (~10 years ago). Present at Doflamingo’s overnight Dressrosa takeover: in snow-harpy form she mans the palace gates and abducts Princess Viola (Violet) — “Monet?! What are you doing there?!”; “Princess Viola’s been kidnapped!!!” (p. 3) — placing the Riku princess in Doflamingo’s hands a decade before Punk Hazard.

Punk Hazard — struck down by Caesar (Ch. 694)

• Poised next to the second gas weapon’s switch, Monet is struck down by her own returned heart: Caesar, believing he holds Smoker’s heart, crushes it to kill Smoker (“Die, Smoker!!!”) — but Law had “considerately returned” Caesar her OWN heart, so Monet is the one struck down (pp. 12–15). “What happened…?
