Hira Hira no Mi
Paramecia · current: Diamante · first demonstrated/named on-page Ch. 736
Profile
The Hira Hira no Mi (VIZ “Ripple-Ripple Fruit”) is a Paramecia Devil Fruit eaten by the Donquixote Supreme Officer Diamante, revealed Ch. 736 (pp. 5–6). It makes the user a “Flag-Man”: any object Diamante touches can be made to ripple and flutter like a flag regardless of its true material — his cape “ripples as though by a breeze, but is actually hard steel.” He can lock the rippling material solid and snap it into a weapon, flapping his steel cape into a fluttering whip-blade. The fruit name and the “Flag-Man” self-styling print on-page (p. 6); the Japanese ヒラヒラの実 is databook-canon (not printed in this chapter).

Named techniques
| Technique | JP / romaji | Etymology | First use | User |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Corrida Glaive | (VIZ “Corrida Glaive”; JP TBD) | “Corrida” — Spanish for bullfight; the hardened, fluttering cape snapped into a glaive | Ch. 736 p. 6 | Diamante |
| Army Bandera | (VIZ “Army Bandera”; bandera Spanish = “flag”) | ripples the ground itself like a wind-blown flag so climbers lose their footing | Ch. 768 p. 12 | Diamante |
| Ripple Release / Death Enjambre | (VIZ “Death Enjambre”; enjambre Spanish = “swarm”) | ripples drifting confetti paper and transmutes the paper-thin sheets into a falling-stardust rain of rigid spiked metal balls — the fruit making paper-thin objects rigid/lethal, not only making surfaces flutter | Ch. 776 pp. 7–9 | Diamante |

Power limits & weaknesses
- Universal: water/sea immobilization (canon DF axiom).
Lore & theories
The power is a material-state trick: Diamante can impose a flag-like, rippling flexibility onto any object he touches — and reverse it, fixing the flutter into a rigid form. The on-page demonstration is his hard-steel cape behaving like wind-blown cloth (p. 6) Cross-link Diamante, Donquixote Pirates, Nature of Devil Fruits.
