• On the plateau, Sai fights Baby 5, hurling his Hasshoken combat taunts — “Can you follow me at this speed!!” / “Will you follow me!?” / “I’ll never let you go!” / “My blade shall seek out your heart!!” — which Baby 5 (mis)hears as declarations that he needs her; she blushes “You need me, don’t you?! ♡” and Sai is baffled (“Huh???”) (pp. 10–11). Dressrosa — the Lao G duel; “Drill Dragon Nail” awakens (Ch. 771)

• Battles the elderly Donquixote officer Lao G on the plateau battlefront. His Hasshoken “true power” awakens — a kick now strong enough to “split the continent of ice,” accidentally shattering Chin Jao’s restored steel drill-head (pp. 13–14).
