Arc-by-arc updates
Dressrosa — “full-body Rupture-Man”; downed by Bartolomeo (Ch. 773)
- Declares himself a “full-body Rupture-Man”: he can puff up and detonate his entire body, raining thousands of poison quills, and threatens to pop the cliff wall the heroes lean on (pp. 8–10).
- New named techniques (Pamu Pamu no Mi): Pop Hair (poison-quill volley from his hair, p. 9), Super Arena (p. 14), Pop Rock (p. 15), Fashion Pop (the burst inside Bartolomeo’s barrier, p. 13).
- Cornered between Robin/Bartolomeo and his own bomb; Cavendish’s stab misses the windpipe so he keeps going, but Bartolomeo finishes him with “Homage Holy Fist: Pistol” — Gladius goes down mumbling he’ll “never team up” with such a pain in the neck (pp. 17–18).
Dressrosa — King’s Plateau steps (Ch. 772)
- Blankets the steps with his swelling-ground bombs, finishing on ”…Pop Rock Fest!!!!” (“BA BA BA BA BAAM!!”), nearly killing Cavendish (“Farewell, Cavendish!!”) (pp. 6–8).
- Hunts Nico Robin as she climbs (“Nico Robin, you cunning wench!!”); uses Racket / Catapult Pop!!! / Bracchium Bulls (Pamu Pamu no Mi, pp. 10–12).
- Calls Dellinger up from the second step to help on the third while his “hands are full with these two fools”; fights a long-armed gladiator (“you long-arms are so pesky!!”), having already “put one hole in your stomach” (pp. 13–14).
Dressrosa — “the Rupture-Man,” Third Floor (Ch. 768)
- Roll-call epithet “the Rupture-Man,” posted on the Third Floor with his followers; mid-fight, told “prepare yourself, Gladius!! The conclusion cannot be far off!!” (pp. 9, 11).
Corazon flashback — torturing the captured Corazon (Ch. 767)
- Stabs/tortures the captured Corazon; told “Don’t overdo it, Gladius!! He’ll die before young master arrives” (p. 7).
Dressrosa — bombarding the climbers; “My name is Gladius” (Ch. 756)
- Bombards Team Rebecca/Robin from below with his Pop-Pop Fruit — “Pop Baller!!!” (pp. 8–9) — “never would have expected anyone making their way to the palace like this!!”
- Names himself to Luffy’s group (“My name is Gladius, and first I will finish off the rest of you!!!”) and vows to track down and eliminate the escaping Rebecca (pp. 16–17).
Dressrosa — defending the steps (Ch. 753)
- Guards the platform steps with his bursting “bulging stones” — “you don’t wanna touch those… mine pop!” (p. 6). (Fruit not named on-page this chapter.)
Dressrosa (Ch. 750)
- On the New Royal Plateau, dismayed the gladiators and Fujitora’s forces were bypassed: “What, is this the best the Don Quixote Family can do?!!” (p. 15).
Dressrosa — the “Rupture-Man”; the Pop-Pop Fruit named (Ch. 740)
- Reveals himself as a “Rupture-Man” with the Pop-Pop Fruit — his Devil Fruit’s VIZ name first prints on-page (pp. 5–11). He can inflate and burst his own body and any inorganic object he touches; threatens to make the toy Soldier’s tin body “pop and vanish without a trace” (pp. 5–7).
- Attacks the toy Soldier and the Tontatta warriors Rampo and Cub in the palace basement, knocking the dwarves out, then turns on Luffy after Luffy snatches the Soldier; detonates his own spiked helmet (“Helmet Pop!!!”) (pp. 5–6, 11–12).
Dressrosa — the Family org chart (Ch. 732)
- Placed on-page in the Family org chart as an Officer of the Pica Army (“Assault Squad”) under Pica (p. 15).
