Giro Giro no Mi
Paramecia · current: Violet
Profile
A Paramecia eaten by the Donquixote Family / Trebol Army assassin Violet. It turns her into “an eagle-eyed seer” with clairvoyance and x-ray-like perception — she can see through objects, search for hidden routes, and read minds and detect lies (“an eagle-eyed seer at the falsehoods within your mind,” p. 5; “Peeping Mind,” p. 6). She can also weaponize her own tears as projectiles. Named & demonstrated on-page in Ch. 712 (the “Violet” chapter).

Power limits & weaknesses
- Clairvoyance / lie-detection is foiled by a mind too “vulgar” to parse cleanly — Sanji’s perversion-flooded thoughts overwhelmed her read (“such vulgarity!!”, p. 6), protecting the alliance’s real plans.
Lore & theories
- All-Seeing Eye — palace scrying (Ch. 756) — Viola sends her gaze “far and wide” from the plateau directly into Doflamingo’s palace, locating the captive Mansherry in a hidden room and reading the danger on the third step (pp. 3, 5–6, 10).
- Etymologized (2026-06-19): ギロギロ girogiro = onomatopoeia for a sharp/glaring stare; user-title 眼力人間 Ganriki Ningen (“Eye-power Human,” VIZ “Eagle-Eyed Seer”). See frontmatter
etymology. The two named techniques are Spanish-coded to Dressrosa: Peeping Mind (English) and Hierro Lagrima (Spanish hierro “iron” + lágrima “tear” → iron/whale-shaped tear projectiles), consistent with the arc’s Andalusian-Spain naming layer. - Cross-link Nature of Devil Fruits.
