Dressrosa — first SHOWN; the North-Blue flashback debut (Ch. 761) — shown, mute-presenting

• On-page debut. The “Story of Corazon” flashback opens (North Blue, 16 years ago, Spider Miles): a tall, clumsy man in a feathered coat and clown-style face paint who repeatedly trips, falls, and accidentally sets himself on fire. Trebol identifies him to young Law as “Captain Dofy’s little brother” — confirming Corazon is Doflamingo’s younger brother by blood and the Family’s Heart (♥) officer (p. 14).
• Per Trebol he “suffered a real bad shock in the past, so he can’t talk no more” (mute) and “hates kids” — he immediately attacks young Law on sight (pp. 14–16). Baby 5 greets him and offers him “very hot” tea (pp. 12–13).
• Present-day frame: Law credits “Cora” as the reason he is still alive (p. 10), opening the whole flashback.

Dressrosa — “my precious blood”; Law stabs him (Ch. 762) — shown, mute-presenting

• Doflamingo prizes him as “my precious blood” and makes him untouchable under the Family’s “law of blood” — “If anyone so much as scratches my brother, they die by my hand!!” (p. 2).
• Shown lounging idly by a window with wine, face hidden behind a propped sign (pp. 7, 18) — the idle facade continues. The freshly recruited, powerless ten-year-old Law is placed under him and roughed up.
• At the chapter’s end Law stabs him, breaking the “law of blood” (pp. 16–17).

Dressrosa — protects Law; breaks his silence at the “D.” (Ch. 763) — the muteness-is-a-ruse reveal

• Heart (♥) executive of the Donquixote Pirates; presents as clumsy and accident-prone (sets his own coat on fire, p. 12) and is treated as the crew’s odd-man-out.
• Protected the recruit Law and took a deep cut for it (p. 12) — even though Law had stabbed him at the prior chapter’s end.
• His muteness is revealed to be a deliberate act. On hearing Law name himself “Trafalgar D. Water Law,” Corazon hauls Law aside and speaks plainly for the first time — “You need to get away from Doffy immediately!! …You can’t be around him!! Listen to me, Law!!” (p. 17). Dressrosa — not mute; the undercover Marine; the “D.” lore (Ch. 764) — the man behind the silence

• Not actually mute. Corazon can speak; he never claimed otherwise — everyone (Doflamingo included) “interpreted it that way on their own” (p. 3). He drops the act in front of young Law.
• Calm-Calm Fruit user (Nagi Nagi no Mi) — a “Silentman” who raises invisible soundproof walls, sealing himself and Law in a silent bubble (p. 4). His chronic accidents (catching fire, tripping) are genuine clumsiness, not the fruit (p. 5).
• States his purpose: he is Doflamingo’s younger brother working “to stop my brother Dofy’s rampage” (p. 5).
• Undercover Marine. Nameplate “Commander Don Quixote Rocinante”; reports to Admiral Sengoku at Navy HQ and requests leave for a “personal matter” (pp. 13–14). Names Vergo as “the previous Corazon,” now on a separate top-secret mission (p. 7).

• Abducts Law to cure his disease — leaves the note “Went to go cure Law’s disease” (p. 12); spends six months dragging him hospital-to-hospital, every door slammed in fear of the “white monster,” and breaks down weeping over the doomed boy (pp. 16–19). Law calls him “Cora” (p. 19). Cliffhanger: Doflamingo’s snail rings — “Corazon, it’s me.”

Dressrosa flashback — saving Law / cover blown / “remember my smile” (Ch. 766) — mortally wounded, resolved to die

• Has stolen the Op-Op Fruit (worth ฿5,000,000,000) from Diez Barrels on Minion Island and force-feeds it to Law to save his life, despite being shot (pp. 2–6).
• Sends Law to deliver an intel report to a Navy scout (bound, via the Navy, to expose the family) and reveals it can “save a kingdom called Dressrosa” (p. 7).
• Blows his lifelong “mute” cover by speaking in front of Vergo (“a slip of the tongue”), exposing himself as “the second Corazon,” a Navy spy and Doflamingo’s brother (pp. 10–13). His real name Rocinante is spoken by Vergo; he disappeared from the family at age 8 and returned 14 years later.

Dressrosa — Corazon flashback; betrays the Family + steals the Op-Op Fruit (Ch. 765) — the undercover Marine, six months on

• Six months after taking Law from the Family, Corazon has been hunting for doctors and now has intel on the Op-Op Fruit as Law’s cure (pp. 2–3).
• Over the Den Den Mushi Doflamingo recognises him (“Is that you… Corazon?”) and orders him to bring Law back and to personally eat the Op-Op Fruit “given the nature of its properties” (pp. 2–3). Corazon privately reads the order as a death sentence — Doflamingo means to sacrifice him for “eternal life”; “if I return to the fold, he’ll kill me.” He decides to betray the Family, steal the fruit first, cure Law, then hide (pp. 5–6). • Reveal reinforced — Corazon is Sengoku’s direct undercover Marine. He contacts Navy HQ via the code words “Cookies”/“Crackers”; Garp and the young “Kuzan” are present (pp. 6–7).
• Devil Fruit power demonstrated: he nullifies every sound he causes (“Calm!”), infiltrating Diez Barrels’ base unheard, silently setting it ablaze, and stealing the Op-Op Fruit; he self-deprecatingly rates it below Baby 5’s “Arms-Arms Fruit” (Buki Buki no Mi) (pp. 13–16). • Dramatic irony: asks if Law is “a navy man”; when Law denies it, Corazon — himself secretly Navy — says ”…I’m glad” (p. 10).
• Flees the burning base under gunfire with the Op-Op Fruit: “I’ll be right back… with the Op-Op Fruit in hand!!!” (p. 17).

Dressrosa flashback — shot dead by Doflamingo (Ch. 767) — killed

• Fully reveals himself to Doflamingo: “I’M A NAVY MAN… Naval HQ Commander Rocinante,” undercover to “prevent the atrocities you have planned” (pp. 9–10).
• Confirms he fed Law the Op-Op Fruit and got him outside the Birdcage under the Navy scout ship’s protection (pp. 10–11) — curing Law’s Amber Lead death sentence and setting him free.
• Hid Law in a treasure chest, used his “Calm” sound-nullification to silence the boy, and told him “I LOVE YOU!!” (p. 13).
• Killed — Doflamingo guns him down (“Why must I be forced to kill my own family not once, but twice?!!”, pp. 12, 15); dying, he tells Law to walk away free — “no one can place their limits on you now” (p. 16). His sacrifice is the root of Law’s vendetta against Doflamingo. Tsuru’s battleship arrives, scattering the family (p. 16).
