The Bellamy Pirates are a Mock Town-based rookie crew introduced in Ch. 222, captained by Bellamy “the Hyena” (55M bounty). Named members so far: Bellamy and Sarquiss. Introduced via Bellamy’s contemptuous impaling of rival captain Roshio in a Mock Town bar (pp. 16-19). Establish the Mock Town antagonist tone for the Jaya arc.
Ch. 222 — first appearance in Mock Town; Bellamy impales rival captain Roshio (42M) over a card-game cheating accusation and laughingly trashes the bar (pp. 16-19). Bounty caption for Bellamy: 55,000,000 berries (p. 19).
Ch. 223 — crew expanded on-page: first mate “Big Knife” Sarquiss (bounty 38,000,000, p. 11) ejects the Straw Hats from the Tropical Hotel and insults Luffy (pp. 11-14); crew-woman Lily named (p. 13); the crew lounges dismissing the “new age of pirates” rookies as “ants compared to you and Bellamy” (pp. 13-14). Bellamy himself smashes through the saloon doors hunting “a pirate in a straw hat” (p. 19).
Ch. 224 — Captain Bellamy and first mate “Big Knife” Sarquiss shown together in the Mock Town bar; crew espouses the “new age of pirates” anti-dream creed. Bellamy confirmed as a Devil Fruit user (p. 3).
Ch. 225 — Bellamy and Sarquiss beat Luffy and Zoro bloody to the laughing crowd’s cheers; Bellamy declares “the age of pirate dreams is over,” which a watching Blackbeard rebuts with “People’s dreams…don’t ever end!!” (pp. 12–13). Bellamy tries and fails to buy Nami, who refuses and calls the crew “a gang of third-rate bullies” (pp. 7–8).
