Chapter 737: Officer's Tower

Summary

At the royal palace, Luffy, Zoro, and Viola are blocked by a towering stone monster — a Don Quixote Family “supreme officer” (unnamed on-page) whose Stone-Stone Fruit lets him assimilate and control any stone he touches; because the whole palace is stone, it is now his body, and he brings the walls down on them. At the Corrida Coliseum, the prize Flame-Flame Fruit — strapped to the back of a numbered fighting fish — breaks loose in the final melee; Jesus Burgess (revealed as one of Blackbeard’s “Ten Titanic Captains”) rips up the stands with his shockwave elbow chasing it, until “Lucy” (Sabo) drops him with a “Dragon Claw”, prompting Cavendish to notice the fighter’s style “ain’t the same” as the real Straw Hat. Below ground, Team Usopp and the Tontatta dwarves map the Officer’s Tower: a lift-cored building fed by pipes that drop broken people and toys onto an underground scrap heap beside a black-market trading port that ships the kingdom’s weapons. A flashback shows how Sugar’s touch turns a person into a toy, binds them by an unbreakable “contract” (obey the family, never harm humans, work until death) and erases them from everyone’s memory — even a Revolutionary spy waiting to report to Koala is trapped this way. The dwarves’ counter-plan: slip Sugar a tatababasco-sauce ball disguised as a grape; when she is knocked out and screams, every toy reverts to human, all erased memories return, Doflamingo’s true colors are exposed, and the kingdom can be returned to King Riku.
