Chapter 711: Adventure in the Land of the Little People

Summary

Nico Robin wakes up bound inside the Kingdom of Tontatta, a hidden civilization of tiny “little people” (dwarves) living underground beneath the forest of Green Bit, sewn into the floor by the warrior Leo’s “Sew-Sew” sorcery. Terrified that any outsider who sees them must be killed, the Tontatta soften the instant they realize Robin is “the hero’s partner” — Usopp has evidently spun them a tall tale of a legendary hero come to help them. Their king, Chief Tonta Gancho, frees her, and Robin (racing a 3-o’clock deadline to contact Law) learns the Tontatta have a grudge against Doflamingo and have been covertly surveilling the Donquixote Family — and that Doflamingo’s people have been watching the dwarves the whole time, meaning the Straw Hats’ ship and “everyone” are in danger. Meanwhile in Port Town Acacia, Zoro chases the clumsy Tontatta recon scout Wicka, who has his sword and is rushing to report the Donquixote Family’s positions. At the Corrida Colosseum, Block C assembles, and the one-legged toy soldier begs the gladiator Rebecca not to fight, revealing a deep, tearful bond between them. At the southeast beach of Green Bit, as Sanji prepares to hand Caesar over, Law calls with the bombshell: Doflamingo never quit the Seven Warlords — the whole thing is a set-up. Law orders an immediate evacuation, but pursuers are already closing on the beach, and Doflamingo mobilizes all units there: “…it’s too late for that.”
