Summary
While Brook and Nami wait at Sabaody Park, Luffy, Hachi (Octo-Hachi) and Pappag run off searching human shops for the kidnapped Camie. Duval’s crew — renamed the Rosy Life Riders (formerly the Flying Fish Riders) now that Sanji has fixed Duval’s face into “Handsome” — gather up the rest of the Straw Hats on flying fish for “Operation Rescue Camie.” Hachi tearfully blames himself, and Robin lays out the buried history behind it: 200 years ago fish-men and merfolk were classed as “fish” and enslaved by humans across the world, and that culture still survives on Sabaody, where Hachi and Camie must hide what they are. At the Human Auction Hall in Grove 1, the auctioneer Disco preps the caged Camie for sale as the rookie pirates Eustass Kid (with Killer) and Trafalgar Law, and the Celestial Dragons Saint Roswald and Saint Shalria, arrive. When Disco moves to kick the biting Camie, he is silently dropped by an unseen force — “Haki” — wielded by an old man who coats ships: Silvers Rayleigh, the Pirate King’s right arm and former first mate of the Roger Pirates.
