Amazon Lily — exposition elder; survived the empress-illness (Ch. 522)

• The “Bean Hag” elder who briefs Luffy: explains Hancock’s Warlord status and the announced execution of Ace, and maps the Gates of Justice current route to Impel Down (pp. 5-13). Speaks Luffy’s full name “Monkey D. Luffy” (p. 17).
• Reveals she was afflicted by the same fatal illness and survived only by fleeing the island; the previous two empresses both died of it (p. 17). Cryptically asks of Luffy, “Will he be the one to move this mountain?” (p. 17).

Amazon Lily — the slave past (Ch. 521)

• Barges into the throne room (forbidden to her as an exiled “traitor to this nation”) and urges Hancock to tell Luffy everything (pp. 10, 18-19).
• Found the three Boa sisters as “miserable, wandering wretches” after they escaped the Celestial Dragons and brought them home; she has “been like a mother” to them — though not blood kin — and Hancock resents her for it (pp. 18-19).
• It is Nyon who narrates the Fisher Tiger / Sun Pirates history and the sisters’ enslavement at Marijoa.

Amazon Lily (Ch. 517)

• True identity revealed: Gloriosa, a former Empress of Amazon Lily (p. 10), now branded a traitor for having “abandoned [her] people and went to the outer seas”; lives alone on the village outskirts (p. 11).
• Begs Hancock to obey the government summons and join the war, arguing the Calm Belt no longer shields the island and only Hancock’s Warlord title prevents Amazon Lily from being treated as “just a nation of pirates” (pp. 8-9).
• Still “a warrior of Kuja” — survives being hurled from the castle tower (p. 12). Keeps a crystal ball; calls Hancock “like a puppy” when afraid (p. 8).
