• Ch. 392 — the D. middle initial is shown to extend to a giant: the castaway giant Jaguar D. Saul gives his full name and says “I don’t know why, but every member of my family has that middle initial” (p. 14) — the first on-page evidence that the D-clan crosses races. Ace is strongly forward-canon to be a D-family member but the on-page D-confirmation is deferred — the chapter does NOT utter D. about him. The Ch. 159 Ace-debut is the D-clan’s largest forward-canon-pending family-member entrance to date:

Ch. 180 Alabasta Animal Land — first on-page utterance of those whose name is D. as a categorical lineage/group in the entire series. Prior on-page D-events were single-bearer name-drops; Ch. 180 names the D. as a known faction with members by an outsider:
