Summary
A full-chapter flashback to the God Valley Incident. The island has collapsed into a three-way battle royale: the Rocks Pirates, the Roger Pirates, and the World Government’s Navy all converge on God Valley’s prize treasuries. Amid the chaos Silvers Rayleigh recovers Shakky (“Rayleigh’s gotten Shakky back!!”), and the slaves of the Celestial Dragons’ hunting game are forced to eat Devil Fruit to survive — a child Kuma eats the Paw-Paw Fruit and teleports the captives to safety. Rocks D. Xebec, revealed to be a member of the hunted “Davy clan,” parts with his wife Eris and their infant son “Teech” (the future Blackbeard) so they can escape. Charlotte Linlin claims the Fish-Fish Fruit for her son Katakuri, but it is knocked loose and eaten by Kaido, who transforms into a dragon. The Roger Pirates loot the treasury; young Garp and Sengoku reel at the scale of the carnage; and St. Saturn’s monstrous true form is revealed as he warns that the “dragon” may “bring about the birth of something entirely new.”
New reveals
- The God Valley Incident is shown directly as a three-way battle royale — Rocks Pirates vs Roger Pirates vs the Navy — fought over the island’s “Primary Prize Treasury” and “Secondary Prize Treasury,” which hold treasure and Devil Fruit (pp. 3, 9, 12).
- Rocks D. Xebec had a family: a wife, Eris, and an infant son named “Teech” — i.e. the future Marshall D. Teach (pp. 8, 11, 15). Xebec: “You dare use my family against me?!” (p. 15).
- Xebec is “one of the Davy clan”; anyone with “the Davy name” who is caught faces torture “that makes hell itself seem like a lukewarm bath.” Eris was “welcomed” into the Davy clan “even though I was a pirate” (p. 7).
- Eris tells Xebec to survive so they can “meet again in Lulusia,” and vows that if she is about to be caught she will “kill Teech and end my own life” (p. 8).
- Kaido got his dragon fruit at God Valley: Linlin claimed the “Fish-Fish Fruit” as a power-up for her son Katakuri, but it was knocked loose and eaten by Kaido — “I’ve finally got my own power to use!!” — who becomes a dragon (pp. 10–11, 16). Big Mom: ”…KAI-DOOOOOO!!! DAMN YOUUUUU…” (p. 11).
- Kuma’s fruit origin: as a child captive he ate the Paw-Paw Fruit (“Eat it, Kuma!! Don’t think!!”) and used the paw-teleport to save the other slaves — “Kuma, you’re a hero” (pp. 4, 14).
- Silvers Rayleigh recovered Shakky during the melee — the origin of their partnership. Rayleigh: “Shakky, there’s something I need to say to you…” / Shakky: “Don’t say it… I already know!!” (pp. 2–3).
- St. Saturn’s monster form is shown at God Valley ~38 years ago; onlookers scream “A monster!!” / “St. Saturn!! Why do you look like that?!” (p. 17). He warns a “dragon… might bring about the birth of something entirely new. That must not happen…” (p. 13).
- The captives being hunted are Buccaneers and other slaves of the Celestial Dragons’ “murder game”; those “chased down transformed” into demon-like forms (pp. 6–7).

Open questions raised
- What is the “Davy clan,” and why does the World Government hunt anyone bearing “the Davy name”? (1162 states the fact but not the meaning.)
- Did Eris and infant Teech survive God Valley, and did they ever reach Lulusia?
- Who narrates this account? Narration cites a Navy man who “reported some rumors… but he vanished from the Navy’s ranks” (p. 5).
- What did Saturn mean that the dragon “might bring about the birth of something entirely new” that “must not happen”?
- The identity of the large Marine officer who insists “I want to save as many of these people as I possibly can!!!” (p. 13) — unnamed on-page.
