The current oiran of Wano — the nation’s single reigning courtesan and top idol (see Oiran), hyped on-page as “regal as any god” and “womanhood perfected.” Her Oiran’s Procession passes through the Flower Capital toward Shogun Orochi’s feast. The kamuro Toko calls her “big sis.”

• The “Komurasaki” persona is used to trap Orochi: as the oiran, Hiyori pins Orochi with sea-prism-stone nails (so he cannot transform) and plays the shamisen, then unmasks — confirming on-page that “Komurasaki” is Kozuki Hiyori, Oden’s daughter, who never loved him (pp. 5-7).

• Performs the shamisen at Orochi’s banquet (p. 2); she came from the yakuza boss Kyoshiro’s pleasure hall (p. 8). Orochi confesses her “secret nature has me terrified” and that he had been “considering making you the wife of the shogun.”
