- Japanese 桃源農園 (Tōgen Nōen): 農園 = 'farm/plantation', and 桃源 is from 桃源郷 (Tōgenkyō), the 'Peach Blossom Spring' — the hidden earthly utopia of Tao Yuanming's classical Chinese fable, Japanese shorthand for a Shangri-La (hence VIZ 'Paradise'). The 桃 (momo, 'peach') also chimes with the Kozuki clan's peach motif (Momonosuke). Bitterly ironic: this 'paradise' of clean food and water, built by Lord Oden to feed all of Kuri, now feeds only Orochi's officials while Okobore eats poison.

Profile
The clean-food farm of Kuri, at the foot of Oden Castle’s mountain — the only source of nonpoisoned crops, water, and clothes in a land whose rivers run poison. Built by the late Lord Oden for the people of Kuri, now seized by Shogun Orochi and reserved for the officials while the populace lives on scraps in Okobore Town.
