A Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that lets the user transform into the Yamata-no-Orochi (八岐大蛇), the legendary eight-headed/eight-tailed serpent of Japanese myth. Named on-page for the first time Ch. 933 (p. 2): “Zoan Type (Mythical) — Snake-Snake Fruit (Model: Yamata-no-Orochi).” Wielded by Shogun Orochi, who transforms for the first time on-page at his drunken banquet in the Flower Capital. It pays off the serpent-name etymology seed (Orochi = Yamata-no-Orochi), pairing the serpent-coded Shogun against the dragon-coded Kaido.
This is a per-model child note of the generic line Hebi Hebi no Mi (which already carries the Anaconda + King Cobra models eaten by the Gorgon Sisters).
