Bakura Town
- Name
- バクラ町 (Bakura-chō)
- Region
- Kuri, Wano Country (New World)
- First seen
- Ch. 914
- Name meaning
- Bakura-chō (バクラ町) reads as a riff on Bakurochō (馬喰町, Bakuro-chō), a historic district in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. 馬喰 (bakuro) means 'horse/cattle trader (broker)'; Edo-period Bakurochō was a horse-market and inn quarter for travelling merchants — apt for Bakura as 'the town of officials and pirates,' the prosperous merchant-and-enforcer hub of Kuri that lives off Okobore's deprivation. (The 'Sakura Town' alias is an early-scanlation misread of バクラ.)
