Wano Country — Onigashima (Ch. 982)

• The “Kyoshiro” face is used as Denjiro’s cover to walk the Southern force past the Beasts and slip into Onigashima (pp. 12-13).

Wano Country — the persona unmasked (Ch. 975)

• “Napping Kyoshiro,” yakuza of the Flower Capital who “took over after Hyogoro,” arrives at the sea battle, disables the Beasts ships’ cannons, and pledges the 200 men of the Kyoshiro Family to the Akazaya (pp. 10-11).
• Revealed to be Denjiro — the Red Scabbard’s deep cover, maintained to retain Orochi’s trust and shield the alliance from the hidden spy (pp. 12-13). Canonical person = Denjiro; this note is the persona/disguise.

Wano Country — Oden flashback (Ch. 973) — the Kyoshiro ORIGIN (flashback, ~20 yrs ago)

• Origin reveal: Kyoshiro is Denjiro. After the Kozuki fell, the scabbard Denjiro — his face “disfigured by the demon of anger” — built the Kyoshiro Family in the Flower Capital, rising as a new mob boss now that Boss Hyogoro is gone (pp. 14–17).
• Offers Orochi his services (“Money!! Women!! Soldiers!!”); nicknamed “Napping Kyoshiro” for his sleepy demeanour (p. 15).

Wano Country (Ch. 945)

• “Boss Kyoshiro” and his men engage Zoro in Rasetsu Town; onlookers note Zoro is keeping pace with him (p. 3).

Wano Country — Rasetsu Town (Ch. 944)

• Intercepts Zoro’s flying slash at the execution grounds and shields Orochi — “You are too careless, my lord, out here with such little protection…” (pp. 5–6).
• Declares his allegiance: ”…I am the shogun’s dog.” Mobilizes all forces to capture the rebels “dead or alive” and suppress the Rasetsu Town uprising (p. 9).

Wano Country (Ch. 941)

• Reveals to Orochi that he (the man who cut Oiran (top courtesan of Wano) down) has personally arranged her public funeral and set up the nationwide light-scroll broadcast (pp. 3, 5).

Wano Country — Flower Capital (Ch. 938)

• In the Flower Capital (Pleasure Hall): the oiran Oiran (top courtesan of Wano)‘s wake is canceled, sparing him the larger crowds/chaos a funeral would bring; he claims to be “the one suffering the most damages here” from her loss and notes Shogun Orochi is in a bad mood (p. 6).

Wano Country — Flower Capital (Ch. 935) — referenced, not shown

• Bath patrons gossip about him: “That Kyoshiro really scares me. You can’t tell what he’s thinking.” / “Yeah, well, he’s a yakuza.” (p. 13).

Wano Country (Ch. 934) — publicly blamed; not on-page

• Publicly blamed for cutting down Oiran (top courtesan of Wano); townsfolk fear the “Kyoshiro family.” The Ringo group notes “Kyoshiro is a name unfamiliar to the rest of us,” contrasting him with the older legend Hyogoro the Flower — placing his rise after the samurai era.

Wano Country (Ch. 933) — cuts down Komurasaki — “a warrior’s mercy”

• At Orochi’s collapsing banquet he cuts down the oiran Oiran (top courtesan of Wano) in one blow — “I gave Komurasaki a warrior’s mercy… The law is ironclad” — ostensibly to spare her from Orochi devouring her and to enforce the Shogun’s law against those who defy him (pp. 11–13).

Wano Country (Ch. 932) — Orochi’s banquet; commands Kaido’s Tobi Roppo

• Guest at Orochi’s banquet; owns the pleasure hall the oiran Oiran (top courtesan of Wano) came from (p. 8). Expounds his yakuza creed: “One’s enemies must always be crushed with nothing less than overwhelming force… that they can never strike back again!!” (p. 9).
• Revealed to have “summoned Kaido’s Tobi Roppo to do your bidding” (p. 9) — a yakuza boss with reach into Kaido’s elite. Offers to personally cut down Foxfire Kin’emon and the Akazaya samurai should they appear (p. 11).

Wano Country (Ch. 931) — referenced only

• Referenced as “Boss Kyoshiro”: Page One resolves to deliver Sanji’s supposed corpse to him, implying a working relationship between the Kyoshiro Family and the dinosaur Zoan (p. 10).

Wano Country (Ch. 928)

• Introduced again as “Boss Kyoshiro” (p. 12); mocks the bankrupt suitor Bingo — “I can’t believe this geezer actually thought Oiran (top courtesan of Wano) was in love with him!!”
• Beats and ejects the weeping, ruined Bingo from the premises (p. 13) — the muscle behind the oiran Oiran (top courtesan of Wano)‘s racket.

Wano Country (Ch. 927)

• Reappears as the Flower-Capital yakuza boss — head of the Kyoshiro Family. Robin recalls visiting his banquet hall and dubs him “an insolent samurai” who is “also a yakuza boss” (pp. 4–5).
• His henchmen extort “monetary respects” from Sangoro’s soba stand; after Sangoro and Franosuke beat them, Kyoshiro — shown in the Sakyo district, summoned to Orochi’s feast — orders his men to “Contact Queen” and send “a heavy,” establishing his direct line to the Beasts Pirates (p. 15).

• Introduced on p. 8 captioned “Kurozumi clan’s money changer — Napping Kyoshiro,” lounging drunk in the Flower Capital. He openly badmouths the Shogun (“Shogun Orochi sure is a coward”) and mockingly recounts Oden’s wife’s dying prophecy, framing Orochi’s terror of the “nine samurai ghosts” (see Toki’s Dying Prophecy Casts Nine Shadows Across Twenty Years).

• Etymology done : the on-page epithet 居眠り狂死郎 (Inemuri Kyōshirō, VIZ “Napping Kyoshiro”) alludes to Nemuri Kyōshirō, the sleepy-eyed RONIN of Renzaburō Shibata’s novels; 狂死郎 carries a 死 ‘death’-for-四 ‘four’ pun.
