Profile
The Shogun of Wano’s personal ninja force (caption, p. 12), serving Orochi and guarding Orochi Castle. Captained by Fukurokuju. They materialize without warning to ambush the disguised Nico Robin (“Orobi”), speaking in a clipped ninja register (“Illogical!!”; “Suspicious actions to take in the presence of a ninja”). Notable events
- Ch. 945 — deployed across Rasetsu Town to hunt Yasuie’s allies and capture a Straw Hat alive on Orochi’s order. Two members are named on-page for the first time: Raijin and Fujin (p. 6). One ninja wields “Ninpo: Hell Biwa” — a biwa/shamisen sound attack (p. 4); Brook’s skeletal “Gashadokuro” spectacle scatters them (p. 6).
- Ch. 935 — referenced (the corps’ origin); not shown — Shinobu’s backstory establishes that the Oniwabanshu defected from the Kozuki to Orochi: once Kozuki supporters, the corps followed its leader Fukurokuju into Orochi’s service after Orochi killed a Kozuki supporter who refused the Kurozumi clan’s employ; Shinobu is a former member who fled “for my life” at the betrayal (p. 15).
- Ch. 932 — hunt the disguised Nico Robin (“Orobi”) across the chapter after her cover is blown; Robin warns her team she has spotted “at least 11 ninja” within the castle; the corps locates her by the chapter’s end (pp. 3–6, 17).
