Rebecca’s mother, addressed as “Lady Scarlett.” A Riku princess (Riku) — daughter of the deposed “old king” of Dressrosa — described by the one-legged toy soldier as “once a very special and powerful person.” In flashback (~10 years ago) she sells flowers with the young Rebecca until Doflamingo’s coup; fleeing a manhunt through a flower field, she leaves Rebecca to buy bread and is shot and killed off-page. The wounded toy soldier delivers her dying gift (the bread) and her last wish to her daughter. Her royal blood is the reason the new king hunts Rebecca.

Dressrosa — Scarlet’s full story, shown (Ch. 742)

• The Kyros flashback shows her in full as First Princess of Dressrosa (caption “Scarlet, age 16,” p. 4), eldest daughter of King Riku and elder sister of Viola.
