Whole Cake Island — Sulong rampage; covers Luffy’s Cacao Island escape (Ch. 897)

• Under the full moon Pekoms has gone Sulong (p. 4) and bursts out of a Cacao Island mirror clutching Brulee as a hostage-ruse — “unless you wanna see your beloved sister’s head blown off” (p. 7) — to buy Luffy a window to flee: “I’m gonna keep Straw Hat alive!! The man Pedro placed his bet on!!” (p. 8).
• Reveals Sulong turns him into “an unthinking, rampaging monster” he cannot control, and that only Pedro’s voice could “break into my subconscious and calm me down” (p. 4) — with Pedro dead, no one can stop his rampage. Urges Luffy: “Don’t let Pedro’s sacrifice go to waste!!” (p. 5).

Whole Cake Island — revealed alive as “Mystoms”; engineers Luffy’s escape (Ch. 896)

• Revealed alive, operating in disguise as the masked “Mystoms” (“MYSTERY SAVIOR”) — confirming he survived being shot into the sea by Bege @0834. Luffy recognizes him (“Pekoms… you’re all right!!”); he insists “Hey, my name’s Mystoms!!” (p. 16). Resolves the long-open survival question (payoff of @0834).

Whole Cake Island — explains Sulong (Ch. 889)

• The Zou-born lion-mink delivers the Sulong exposition as Carrot transforms — the moon-cycle/weather dependence, the loss-of-control danger, and the eye-shielding reversal — calling the rampaging Carrot “my honorable little sister” (p. 4). See Minks (§Sulong).

Whole Cake Island — grieving Pedro (Ch. 882)

• At Sweet City, wails inconsolably over the late Pedro — his fellow Zou mink and “frère in spirit,” who “chose death via explosion” — and is told by a sibling to “stop wailing already” (p. 12). Confirms Pedro is referenced as already dead by this chapter.

Whole Cake Island — captive; carried home by the Sun Pirates (Ch. 860)

• Restrained/captive at the Eastern Inlet (in lion-mink form, struggling — “Hey, where do you think yer goin’?! Growr!!”); the Sun Pirates take him with them back toward Fish-Man Island (Ch. 860 pp. 2, 5).

Whole Cake Island — recovering at the Eastern Cove; wants to warn Big Mom (Ch. 858)

• Recovering from Bege’s gunshot at the Eastern Cove of Whole Cake Island; grows suspicious of nighttime “luggage” activity and insists on reporting Bege’s treachery to Big Mom, but is restrained by his crewmates (incl. his wife Charlotte Praline) and the ship doctor (pp. 4-6).

Whole Cake Island — the cliff-shooting flashback; rescued and recuperating (Ch. 857)

• Revealed (in flashback): after guiding Luffy to Whole Cake Island, Pekoms was abducted by Bege’s people and offered a deal to join the plot against Big Mom. Too loyal and honorable to accept, he refused — so they shot him off a cliff into a swarm of sharks to silence him. One of Jinbei’s companions rescued him in the nick of time; he is currently recuperating (p. 14).

Whole Cake Island — mentioned (referenced) (Ch. 854) — referenced, not shown

• Mentioned at the family meeting as having been with the intruders “until they entered our territory” (p. 11).

Whole Cake Island — resurfaces alive; torn between duty and kinship (Ch. 850)

• Resurfaces alive (last seen shot into the sea by Bege @0834) at the Chateau courtyard fight against Pedro. As a fellow mink he is conflicted — “Mama, he’s like a brother to me!!” — and Tamago has to remind him he serves the Big Mom Pirates (“You’re under the Big Mom Pirates, Pekoms!!”). Tamago (French affect) boasts he is “wearing le tights that block your electro powers” (pp. 8-9).

Whole Cake Island — backstory tie revealed (referenced) (Ch. 846)

• Backstory tie revealed: five years ago Pekoms begged Big Mom’s forces to spare Pedro’s life after Pedro was caught stealing one of her poneglyphs (p. 15) — the past Baron Tamago alludes to. Whole Cake Island — referenced as gone (Ch. 843)

• Referenced only: “now Pekoms is gone” (p. 10) — the team’s lost guide is acknowledged absent as they push on toward Sanji without him.

Whole Cake Island — shot by Bege into the sea (Ch. 834)

• Shot by Capone Bege on the WCI north-east coast and knocked into the sea (pp. 10-11) after warning Bege about the danger of crossing Big Mom (“you don’t realize what you’re getting into with Mama”). Fate unconfirmed on-page.

Whole Cake Island (Ch. 827)

• Guides the retrieval team into Totto Land; defuses Tamago when he confronts the Sunny (p. 2). Must stay aboard the Sunny — “folks will recognize me” — and frets he’ll be blamed if it gets out he smuggled the Straw Hats in (p. 6).
• Delivers the Totto Land exposition: “the total of all lands,” 35 islands, 34 ministers, Big Mom’s all-races dream (p. 5–6).

Whole Cake Island (Ch. 826)

• Exposits Germa 66 / the Vinsmokes to the crew — royal North-Blue conquerors whose science-based battle force is “the power Mama wants” (p. 9).
• Conceals the Straw Hat alliance from the Germa siblings — “You’re Pekoms from the Big Mom Pirates… and it ain’t none o’ yours!! …Me and you people… ain’t got no relation yet!!” (p. 16). Both sides agree to “pretend they saw nothing” to avoid ruining Sanji’s marriage (p. 17).

• Sanji cites Pekoms as proof the Big Mom side “destroy their own partners without blinking” — i.e. Bege shooting Pekoms — as his reason to refuse them (p. 18).

Zou — fruit named; joins the retrieval team (Ch. 822)

• Healed by Chopper, Pekoms names his Devil Fruit on-page for the first time — the Turtle-Turtle Fruit, shell “as hard as diamonds” (p. 7). Reaffirms his debt: “Thanks for the medical care. I’m even more indebted to ya!!” See Pekoms Vows To Repay His Debt To The Straw Hats.

• Awake and recovering in the Whale Forest after being shot by Capone Bege; “my power helped me avoid half the damage” (turtle-shell hardening). Confirms Sanji “can’t escape the wedding now” (p. 17).

Zou — gravely wounded; Jack’s remnants named (Ch. 813)

• Shown “lying in a pool of his own blood” on Zou after Capone Bege shot him (@0812); a crewmate states they “were attacked by some of Jack’s remnants” (p. 15). Still down from the betrayal.

Zou — revealed a Mink; shot by Bege (Ch. 812)

• Revealed to be a Mink, native to Zou — “Oh, so he’s a mink too” (p. 7). Left his homeland long ago as “an infamous problem child”; weeps to find the Mokomo Dukedom in ruins and thanks the Straw Hats for saving his family and friends (pp. 6-9). Confirms the @0811 lion-mink “Zou is my hometown!!” was him — race SET mink now that it is stated on-page.
• Refuses to harm the people who saved his homeland; shot in the back by Capone Bege for letting emotion override the mission, then declared “useless” (pp. 10-11). Still alive but incapacitated.

Zou (flashback) (Ch. 807)

Fish-Man Island — defeats Caribou; turtle Zoan shown (Ch. 652) — bounty 330,000,000 data box

• Outside the Sweets Factory, confronts and defeats Caribou, who had returned demanding back the treasure Pekoms’s party collected (pp. 10-13). Addressed as “Mr. Pekoms” (p. 11); captioned with a 330,000,000 bounty (p. 13).
• Turtle Zoan SHOWN (fruit still unnamed): pops into an impervious turtle shell to no-sell Caribou’s Gatling-gun mud assault (“A turtle?!” / “Devil Fruit powers?!”, p. 11), then knocks Caribou out in a maned, lion-like brawler form (pp. 12-13). His species/fruit are NOT named on-page — do not mint a Devil-Fruit note; race stays BLANK . Debuts at the Fish-Man Island sweets factory, captioned “Big Mom Pirates Fighter — Pekoms” (p. 5), intimidating the staff to collect Big Mom’s monthly sweets tribute and threatening that anyone who angers “Mama” “gets ruined” (p. 5). Speaks the tribute terms and confronts the Straw Hats.
• On-page his species is NOT named — the Straw Hats simply note “that guy’s a talking lion” and compare him to Chopper (p. 7).
