Summary
The Sanji-retrieval team aboard the Thousand Sunny reaches the outer waters of Big Mom’s territory. Tamago, mistaking the Sunny for an enemy ship, is talked down by Pekoms, who persuades him to keep the ship’s arrival a surprise from “Mama.” The crew lands at Chocolat Town on Cacao Island — a town built entirely of chocolate — to resupply. Pekoms (who must stay aboard lest he be recognized) explains Totto Land: Big Mom’s nation of 35 islands governed by 34 ministers, born of her dream of a land where all peoples live together without discrimination. Luffy and Chopper gorge on an edible café and are arrested for “snackalism,” but a kindly girl rescues them by claiming she hired them to dismantle expired product — revealed to be Lady Pudding, whose imminent wedding the townsfolk celebrate. Tamago privately greets Pedro as “Captain Pedro,” whom he hasn’t seen “in ages.” Meanwhile at Whole Cake Island, Big Mom and her singing homies prepare ravenously for the tea party / wedding three days away, chanting of “the tea party from hell.”
New reveals
- Totto Land (“the total of all lands”) is named and shown for the first time: Big Mom’s territory of 35 islands — Whole Cake Island plus 34 others, each managed by one of 34 different ministers (p. 5–6).
- Big Mom’s stated dream: a nation where all the peoples of the world can live together without discrimination (“Even Minks! What a wonderland!”) (p. 5).
- Chocolat Town on Cacao Island is built entirely of chocolate, under the Minister of Chocolate; glass windows fall under the Minister of Candy, pillars under the Minister of Biscuits; visitors may eat the chocolate freely (roof tiles excepted) (p. 5–6).
- Homies introduced — Big Mom animates objects and living things (talking flowers, a talking sun, chocolate, a flying carpet, jelly). Named homies: Nitro the Jelly (on Pudding’s shoulder) and Rabian the Carpet (p. 8–9, 14–17).
- Charlotte Pudding appears on-page for the first time, disguised as the “Café Caramel Owner,” then revealed as Lady Pudding, whose wedding is imminent (p. 7–13).
- Pedro has a hidden history tied to Big Mom’s domain — Tamago greets him as “Captain Pedro,” “haven’t seen you in ages”; Pedro asks him to keep quiet (“I’m sightseeing. Don’t tell anyone.”) (p. 11).
- The wedding / tea party is three days away; Big Mom awaits “the Germa boy” (Sanji) (p. 14).
- Pekoms cannot go ashore (folks would recognize him) and fears retaliation for smuggling the Straw Hats into Totto Land (p. 6).

Open questions raised
- Is Pudding’s kindness genuine, or a facade befitting the bride of a forced political marriage?
- How does Pedro know Big Mom’s officers — what is his prior history in/around Totto Land?
- What is the true nature of the “tea party from hell,” and who is the “demonic sacrifice”?
- Does Big Mom already sense the Straw Hats’ arrival (“Strawww haaat…”)?
