Summary
At Cacao Island (12
AM, 32 minutes to the planned meeting) the Big Mom Pirates war-game Luffy’s escape: a cloaked strategist reasons that even if Luffy flees his fight with Katakuri and pops out of a mirror at 1 o’clock, he can’t leave the Mirro-World without Brulee — so they resolve to re-secure her, “the key to unlock the Mirro-World,” and dismiss any chance Katakuri loses as “zero percent.” Intercut: Sanji and Pudding share a tearful farewell — Pudding daydreams a wedding, begs to apologize for tricking him, and Sanji says he’s glad it was her who played his fiancée before asking for “one last thing” before they part. In the Mirro-World, Luffy and Katakuri trade devastating, exhausted blows; mid-fight Katakuri asks whether Luffy will come back someday to topple Big Mom, and Luffy declares he is the man who will be King of the Pirates — prompting Katakuri’s “you’re looking quite far into the future.” Capone Bege’s fleeing Fire Tank Pirates (“Godfather!!”) fear they can’t outrun the blockade with the cake, and Morgans broadcasts the manhunt from Whole Cake Island. After Luffy downs Katakuri, the masked “Mystoms” — Pekoms, alive — appears having captured Brulee, vowing to make Pedro’s death worth it and get Luffy out. The chapter closes with the Big Mom forces massed at Cacao Island, a giant commander roaring for Straw Hat Luffy to show himself with five minutes left.New reveals
- Pekoms is alive and operating in disguise as the masked “Mystoms” (“MYSTERY SAVIOR”); he has captured Brulee and waited to help Luffy escape the Mirro-World, explicitly to honor Pedro’s sacrifice (p. 16).
- The Big Mom Pirates’ Cacao Island plan: they correctly predict Luffy will flee the fight and emerge from a mirror near 1 AM, but believe he cannot exit without Brulee, so they aim to re-capture her (pp. 2–3, 11).
- Sanji’s “one last thing” — he asks Pudding for a final request before parting; its content is left unrevealed (p. 5, title drop).
- Katakuri and Luffy reach a mutual-respect détente mid-fight; Luffy vows to come back and topple Big Mom “someday” (pp. 13–14).
- Bege’s Fire Tank Pirates are fleeing by sea with the cake and doubt they’ll outrun the blockade (“we’ll die together,” pp. 11).
- Morgans is embedded with the Big Mom forces at Whole Cake Island, threatening front-page coverage of the crew’s capture/execution (p. 10).
