Key chapters

• Ch. 827 — first appearance & first naming; the retrieval team enters Big Mom’s territory; the “35 islands / 34 ministers / all-races dream” exposition delivered by Pekoms (p. 5–6).
• Ch. 828 — Charlotte Pudding’s hand-drawn map (p. 10) shows the archipelago: Whole Cake Island at the center, ringed by Candy, Nuts, Biscuits, Cheese, Jam, and Cacao islands. Entry is gated by the Tarte checkpoint (p. 3). The Charlotte wedding is on Whole Cake Island’s southwest coast in ~3 days; a secret sibling-only sea route reaches it without catching Big Mom’s eye.
• Ch. 829 — Big Mom is captioned “Queen of Totto Land” (p. 17). The Sanji-retrieval team departs Cacao Island per Pudding’s instructions and navigates the food-island waters — a sea of grape juice, with Jam next — toward Whole Cake Island (pp. 3–6). The capital Sweet City is introduced (and razed by Big Mom’s craving fit).
• Ch. 834 — named on-page on the newspaper Brook reads (p. 5); Charlotte Perospero is introduced as its Minister of Candy (p. 16).
• Ch. 835 — named again (pp. 3, 15); the lifespan toll that funds the realm is spelled out: every resident pays Big Mom a month of soul every six months (“leave or life”) for her protection, and the souls are poured into the homies via her Soul-Soul Fruit — “the true nature of Totto Land.”
• Ch. 847 — the nation “professes to house all the species,” but a guest touring Big Mom’s collection notes there is not a single giant — “only large humans” — and Big Mom visibly flinches (p. 6). • Ch. 848 — captioned on-page during the Chateau infiltration (the Queen’s Chamber, Totto Land, p. 4; and again during the castle chase, p. 10); reaffirmed as Big Mom’s territory, with Whole Cake Island as its central seat.
• Ch. 880 — caption “At Sea, Totto Land” (p. 14): Big Mom personally chases the fleeing Thousand Sunny across the Totto Land seas and conjures a massive tidal wave to sink it (pp. 14, 17).
• Ch. 899 — Big Mom’s craving-rampage is shown eating her own empire island by island (Nuts Island/Peanut Town leveled) while chasing Sanji’s cake to Fluffy Island and the Cacao coast; her subjects openly question whether an Emperor’s “protection” was ever worth the years of their lives they surrendered. Newly-captioned sub-islands/towns: Nuts Island (Peanut Town), Cutlery Island (Table Town), Munchie Island (Beany-Bean Town), Ice Cream Island (Sherbet Town), Fluffy Island (Floof Town — Chiffon, Minister of Fluff).
• Ch. 900 — Big Mom’s founding ideal stated in her own song (the “Bad End Musical”): “a place of happiness… where all the races of the globe… are treated with normality… a world of pure tranquility.” Her citizens’ chorus reframes the coercive underside — “thanks to our loving queen / here we’re all a family / makes Totto Land serene / a deal with the devil!” — i.e. in Totto Land you may never leave alive (pp. 18-19).
