Summary
Inside Brûlée’s Mirro-World, Jinbei — now openly mutinying against the Big Mom Pirates — leads a rescue team (Nami, Carrot, a disguised Chopper) past Charlotte forces, recovering crewmates one mirror at a time. Cornered by Brûlée, Jinbei explains why he is betraying Big Mom: years of trying to leave her crew honorably ended only in the death-roulette wheel that killed his partner five years ago, because Big Mom suffers no one to leave her realm alive. In the Queen’s Chamber of Whole Cake Chateau, a wounded Big Mom (cut by the Soul King) keeps Brook captive as a “work of Soul Art,” while Pudding — revealed to be Big Mom’s loyal daughter and a complete double agent — lays out the wedding plot: she will flash her hidden third eye to freeze Sanji mid-kiss, then put a bullet in his skull as the signal for the assembled crew to massacre all six unarmed Vinsmokes and claim Germa 66’s technology for Big Mom. At a family meeting, Charlotte Mont-d’Or tallies the neutralized intruders while Charlotte Opera lies to cover that the Straw Hat prisoners actually escaped. Elsewhere, Sanji has secretly slipped out to cook — making everyone’s favorite dishes — and, caught by a Charlotte cook, beats him and flees with the food, Luffy’s “I’ll just sit here and starve!!” ringing in his ears: “What am I doing?”
New reveals
- Pudding is a double agent. She is a fully loyal daughter of Big Mom; her warmth toward Sanji and the whole “rescue / sympathy” act was theater. She personally guided the six intruders onto the island as part of the trap (p7, p11).
- Pudding has a hidden THIRD EYE on her forehead, concealed under her bangs — to be shown for the first time at the wedding to make Sanji falter (p8).
- The wedding is an assassination. When Sanji lifts Pudding’s veil to kiss her, she shoots him; the audience of Charlotte forces then guns down all six unarmed Vinsmokes. Big Mom’s goal: seize Germa 66’s army/technology (p8–9).
- Big Mom’s roulette wheel of death — anyone who wishes to leave her crew must spin a wheel “constructed such that whoever spins it is guaranteed to die.” She welcomes all comers but kills all leavers; Jinbei’s partner spun it and died five years ago (p4–5).
- Brook wounded Big Mom. The cut “from the Soul King” is deeper than she thought; she keeps Brook (“Boney”) captive as a rare “work of Soul Art” rather than entomb him in her book (p6).
- Pudding shot Reiju in the leg and erased her memories when Reiju grew suspicious (p7).
- Charlotte Opera lied that he burned the Straw Hat prisoners to death (torturing them for Lola’s location) — covering that they escaped the underground prison library on his watch; he fears Big Mom taking his lifespan (p12–13).
- Jinbei is in open mutiny, working with the Straw Hats; Brûlée names him “first son of the sea” (p4).

- Page 16: Sanji’s “…doesn’t belong to you!!!!” punch (KADO OM).
- Page 18: SBS Question Corner (Vol 86): the eight-vs-seven cups in Ch 800 (an old lady wandered by); “a heart full of belief” = the strength not to be led astray by adults who can’t admit their mistakes (a wink at Opera); Doflamingo drawn removing his sunglasses.
Open questions raised
- What is the true nature/origin of Pudding’s third eye, and what can it do beyond unsettling Sanji?
- Will the Vinsmokes — and Sanji — be warned in time, given Reiju’s memories were erased?
- How will Jinbei’s open mutiny against a Yonko play out, given the roulette wheel marks all leavers for death?
- Where exactly is Luffy now, and how does the prison-library “escape” Opera is covering for connect to the rescue effort?
