Summary
In the wake of Cracker’s defeat, Big Mom rages through Whole Cake Chateau; her ministers report that two of the Sweet 3 Generals — Smoothie and Katakuri — have arrived, while Cracker (the third) has fallen to “Straw Hat Luffy.” A curfew is declared. In the Seducing Woods, Luffy (bloated from eating his way through Cracker’s biscuit soldiers, now deflating as his Gear Four wears off) and Nami flee; a homie explains that the vivre card Nami carries holds absolute power over Big Mom’s homies (even Big Mom’s children may not hold a piece), and that Big Mom controls the weather through the sun-homie Prometheus and the cloud-homie Zeus. Desperate to stop Sanji’s wedding, Luffy and Nami ride a tree-homie toward the castle and intercept the Germa 66 procession carrying Sanji. Luffy smashes Sanji’s carriage; Sanji kicks him away and, in tears, declares “My name is Vinsmoke Sanji, a Prince of Germa Kingdom,” renouncing the crew and resolving to drive Luffy off.
New reveals
- Big Mom controls the weather. Her right hand holds the sun itself, Prometheus; her left hand holds the lightning clouds, Zeus — “Linlin can control the weather!!!” (p. 9).
- Big Mom’s vivre card commands her homies. It “holds absolute power over the homies”; even Big Mom’s own children are forbidden to hold a piece — and Nami has one (p. 8).
- Charlotte children, numbered on-page (p. 6): Charlotte Opera (Minister of Cream, 15th son), Charlotte Galette (Minister of Butter, 18th daughter), Charlotte Mont-d’Or (Minister of Cheese, 19th son).
- The Sweet 3 Generals are Cracker (just defeated), Smoothie, and Katakuri; “it’s been forever since we had all three together” (pp. 4-5).
- General Snack is named as a previously-defeated general in a homie’s anecdote about Big Mom’s vengeance-storm (p. 9).
- Germa 66 is shown on-page for the first time — a royal procession of “66”-marked soldiers escorting Sanji (pp. 13-18).
- Sanji self-declares as Vinsmoke royalty: “Vinsmoke Sanji… a Prince of Germa Kingdom” (p. 18), and refuses to return (“I’m not going back!!!”, p. 19) — weeping as he says it.
- The crew has split: “Zolo’s group is heading for Wano now” while Luffy/Nami/Chopper/Brook/Carrot pursue Sanji (p. 16).

- p. 1 — Lead splash: the Straw Hats in a chaotic falling/floating composition laced with skull-and-bone homie motifs (decorative volume spread; not a story beat).

- p. 6 — The three reacting ministers introduced with caption boxes naming their post + birth order (Opera/Galette/Mont d’Or).
- p. 9 — Big Mom flanked by Prometheus (sun, right) and Zeus (clouds, left); “Linlin can control the weather!!!”
- p. 13-15 — The Germa 66 procession; Luffy spots Sanji’s carriage; leaps aboard (“WE CAME TO GET YOU, SANJI!!!!”).
- p. 18 — Sanji’s full-name self-declaration over a “66”-soldier stage tableau.
- p. 20 — (volume back-matter bleed) SBS Question Corner: Germa castle built “werrrp”/its people exacting; Basil Hawkins wears lucky items; Sally Isntoinette = Stelly’s wife (Goa queen, ch 823).
- p. 21 — (scan bleed) Next-chapter title page “Chapter 844: Luffy vs. Sanji” + cover-request art (“Sugar whipping up grape jam with wolves”).
Open questions raised
- What exactly is a “homie,” and what fruit lets Big Mom create them and bind them to her vivre card? (Fruit unnamed on-page.)
- Why are even Big Mom’s own children forbidden to hold a piece of her vivre card?
- Is Sanji’s renunciation genuine, or a performance to drive the crew to safety (his tears suggest the latter)?
- What is the Germa Kingdom — a nation, a roving army, or both — and who else heads it?
- What forced the Vinsmoke marriage on Sanji, and what leverage keeps him compliant?
