Firsts
  • The amnesiac Big Mom ('Olin') knocks out Queen — a 1.3-billion-berry All-Star — in just two hits, showing the Emperor's raw strength is undimmed by her amnesia
  • Wano's surveillance runs on 'Smart Snails' (Smails) whose weak mental signals are all routed through one regional 'Boss Snail' — sever the Boss Snail and an entire area goes communications-dark
  • The scabbards' breakout plan: Kawamatsu (who knows the Udon Boss Snail's location) will devour it to black out comms while Raizo steals all the keys; the imprisoned Caribou is used as a decoy to misdirect the wardens' relay
  • Big Mom's amnesiac motive: she stormed Queen for the oshiruko to bring back to the kind villagers of Okobore Town who fed her
  • Big Mom no longer recognizes Luffy ('Luffytaro') through his samurai disguise
  • Luffy's advanced Haki blossoms under mortal danger — he knocks the explosive kill-collars off himself and Hyogoro with a touchless Haki burst; Hyogoro names the secret: the power blossoms in the midst of danger

Summary

At the Udon Excavation Labor Camp, the amnesiac Big Mom — “Olin” — rampages after Queen for his oshiruko, knocking the 1.3-billion-berry All-Star out cold in just two hits and leaving the wardens screaming to report to Kaido (pp. 2–6). The chaos cracks open the “never-opening cell,” and in the Officers’ Tower the scabbards’ plan surfaces: Wano’s “Smart Snails” relay through one regional Boss Snail, so Kawamatsu — who knows where Udon’s Boss Snail sits — will devour it to black out all communications while Raizo steals the keys, with the imprisoned Caribou running decoy out front (pp. 7–9). Big Mom finds the oshiruko pot empty and her rage peaks; when Luffy blurts aloud how good the oshiruko was, she rounds on him — but, amnesiac, fails to recognize “Luffytaro” through his disguise (pp. 10–13). She reveals she wanted the sweets for the poor village that was kind to her. With the prisoners’ kill-collars beeping toward detonation, Luffy’s advanced Haki blossoms under the mortal pressure: he knocks the collars clean off himself and Hyogoro and dodges the wardens’ fire (pp. 14–16). Hyogoro names the lesson — that power blossoms in the midst of danger — and Luffy turns the Emperor’s onslaught into live training, daring her: “Then come!!!” (p. 17).
