A Headliner of the Animal Kingdom Pirates stationed at a mansion in the officials’ town of Bakura Town in Kuri. He ate a Lion SMILE Fruit (SMILE artificial Zoan): a lion’s head and forepaws protrude from his abdomen and share his body — but the lion (Kamijiro) has its own will and openly defies him, even biting his crotch (the “patented family jewels attack”). Cruel and short-tempered (“Don’t look back at my face!!”). Named on-page Ch. 914 (heard by radio); first SHOWN Ch. 915.

Wano Country — investigating the thefts (Ch. 959)

• In Okobore Town (Kuri) investigating the huge ongoing food/crop thefts and rumors the samurai are preparing a big raid; suspects “could that be what’s behind all of this?” (p. 8).
• Confronted by Otsuru, who offers to lead him on a long trip to “show him something” — drawing his attention away from the townsfolk (pp. 8–9).

Wano Country — Bakura Town (Ch. 941)

• His faction sets fire to Atamayama and gloats at Bakura Town, hoping to broadcast Shutenmaru (Ashura Doji) “burning alive in that wildfire” as punishment for the Atamayama Thieves Brigade’s raids (pp. 8-9).

Wano Country (Ch. 918)

• Left defeated in his wrecked Bakura Town mansion after Luffy’s Red Hawk; his belly-lion Kamijiro is noted as “still conscious for some reason” while subordinates urge him to hang on (pp. 2, 15). Not confirmed dead .

Wano Country (Ch. 917)

• Receives Speed’s Food Treasure Barge of Paradise Farm produce at his Bakura Town mansion; mistakes the disguised Luffy (“Luffytaro”) for a henchman of the thief Shutenmaru / the Atamayama Thieves Brigade (p. 7).
• Names the chain of power in Kuri: Holdem → Jack the Drought → Kaido; warns that angering Jack would “reduce this entire town to a desert wasteland” (pp. 8-9).
• Tortures Otama’s cheeks with pliers (“you can’t even pull out my millet dumplings that way,” p. 15) — a Devil-Fruit seed for her cheek-dango power (see Otama’s Cheek-Dango Power Tames Any Beast To Absolute Loyalty) — and moves to execute Okiku (“I choose you, woman!”, p. 13). Wields Lion Fire (p. 15) and his “trick mechanism sword” (p. 16).
• Luffy snatches Otama free with Komachiyo’s help and, enraged, blasts Holdem with Red Hawk (pp. 16-17). Not confirmed dead . His belly-lion Kamijiro — recorded inside this note as a Lion-SMILE manifestation, not a separate Character note — acts again with its own will.

Wano Country (Ch. 916)

• Shown when Luffy’s defeated Urashima is launched clear across Bakura Town through his building, demolishing it (p. 18).
• Holds Otama captive; when Luffy, Zoro and Okiku arrive to take her back (“We’re here to take Tama back!!!”), he refuses and threatens to crush her in his belly-lion (Kamijiro)‘s jaws (pp. 17-19). See SMILE, Otama’s Cheek-Dango Power Tames Any Beast To Absolute Loyalty.
• Brands the intruders likely “followers of the thief named Shutenmaru,” then learns a fire has broken out and that Headliner Hawkins is “at the gate” (p. 19).

Wano Country (Ch. 915) — first appearance

• First SHOWN at his Bakura Town mansion, holding the kidnapped Otama (pp. 5-7). His Lion SMILE belly-lion (Kamijiro) shares his body but acts with its own will — it glares, growls, and bites him (“Why does he never learn…?”). See Holdem’s Lion SMILE Acts With A Mind Of Its Own, SMILE.
