Profile

A gang of ship-dismantlers and bounty hunters operating out of Water Seven, led by the cyborg Franky. Their masked members are seen all over the city during the San Faldo costume-festival season (Ch. 324, unnamed); the gang is named on-page Ch. 325 when they board the Going Merry. The boss himself (Franky / Cutty Flam) is not shown through this batch’s early chapters — his name is first spoken in dialogue Ch. 327 (“Don’t underestimate Franky”), he names himself @0329, cyborg reveal @0336, revealed = Cutty Flam, Tom’s surviving apprentice, @0346.

Trade (per Ch. 327, p. 5): they are ship-dismantlers — they scrap pirate ships for usable timber and sell it; “if they do away with any pirates that come into this town, they get their boat.” Nami: “If you become one of their victims, they won’t even leave your bones behind.”

As the Galley-La Company foremen attack, the Franky Family pile into the same melee — fighting over both the stolen money and over Luffy personally: boss Franky tells the others “…to stay out of it!! That kid’s mine!!” (p. 11) and trades heavy blows with Luffy directly (pp. 9–11). Franky is shown in open combat (blond pompadour, sunglasses, cyborg arms, “SHIP” chest tattoo) and is checked for a Devil Fruit (“Did you eat the Devil Fruit?”, p. 9) — implicitly NO. • Ch. 335 — Boss Franky’s full on-page debut; the confrontation at Galley-La. Franky and the Square Sisters Kiwi & Mozu (caption-introduced p. 15) confront the Straw Hats at the Galley-La Company head office, blaming them for the Iceberg attack and the wrecked Franky House. • Ch. 334 — Franky House destroyed; the Family blames the Straw Hats. Family members Mozu and Kiwi (the “Square Sisters”) return to find the Franky House reduced to rubble and conclude “It has to be them!!” — pinning it on the Straw Hats (pp. 19–20). The city, too, blames “those pirates who frequent the factory” and Franky for the night’s events (p. 6), explicitly linking the Iceberg shooting to the Franky-House destruction. • Ch. 330 — HQ wrecked; the stolen money is gone. The Family carouse in the Franky House, having already spent the stolen 200M on food/supplies/fireworks (pp. 2–3). Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Chopper raid the HQ “all alone” to take the money back (Usopp is absent — referenced only, p. 7). The Family reveal the money is gone — boss Franky spent it and is off-island on the Sea Train (pp. 14, 18). They self-describe as “dismantlers and bounty hunters,” fight with iron armor / iron cannonballs and a “Franky House specialty / Everything Cannon!!” (pp. 7, 11, 16), and are wiped out as the Straw Hats level the building (pp. 17–18).
• Ch. 329 — Boss Franky is shown and names himself on-page (“My name is Franky”, p. 13). The gang celebrates the heist at the Franky House, where Franky doles out 5M of the loot for a party (pp. 7–9). When Usopp comes alone to recover the stolen money, the members shout “How dare you attack the Franky Family!” (p. 10) and Franky personally beats him down (pp. 10–15). Money facts confirmed: the gang holds the 200,000,000 berries stolen from the crew (pp. 7–9, 13); the remaining ~100M of the crew’s ~300M treasury was being guarded by Usopp aboard the ship.
• Ch. 328 — Rob the Straw Hats of their ~200 million berries by swapping their suitcases, and beat and abduct Usopp (a bystander recalls a “long-nose” being “carried away by them,” pp. 14–15). Their hideout, the Franky House, is named on-page: “on the coast directly northeast from Rocky Cape… the place where they dismantle the ships” (p. 15). Escalates the @0325 boarding attempt to a full robbery + kidnapping. The boss (the cyborg Franky / Cutty Flam) is still NOT shown or named.
• Ch. 327 — Confirmed to have robbed the crew of 200 million berries, now recovered by Galley-La Company (pp. 4, 6). Their named henchmen “weren’t that strong”; the workmen warn “don’t underestimate Franky” — the Family’s leader Franky “stays in the shadows” (p. 6). First time the boss’s name is spoken on-page.
• Ch. 326 — Robs the Straw Hats of ~200 million berries. The gang ambushes and robs the crew of the Skypiea-gold money earmarked for the Merry’s repair — “Robbers! Give me back my 200 million berries!” / “Woohoo! Looks like there’s 200 million in here!” (p. 13). They are routed by Galley-La’s Paulie (“Rope Action… Round Turn!!”, pp. 15–16), who then keeps the recovered money himself. The cyborg Franky himself is still NOT shown/named here.
• Ch. 325 — Named on-page. A gang of bounty hunters boards the Going Merry to claim Zoro’s 60-million-berry bounty, “round up the rest of the crew,” and seize the ship as a hideout (pp. 2–3). Self-description: “We’re the Franky Family! / We can silence even crying children!” (p. 3). Routed by Zoro alone with “Rhino Cycle” two-sword style (pp. 4–5); Zoro calls them “useless jerks.” The cyborg Franky himself is NOT shown/named here.
• Ch. 324 — First on-page (masked, unnamed). Masked members are “all over town” in Water Seven during the San Faldo costume-festival season (pp. 11–12); at the chapter’s cliffhanger a masked figure boards the Going Merry. Identified as the Franky Family only retroactively (@0325).

Franky House (HQ)

• The gang’s headquarters in Water Seven is Franky House — located “on the coast directly northeast from Rocky Cape,” where they dismantle ships (named on-page Ch. 328 p. 15; fully shown @0329 — a large building with a prominent “FRANKY HOUSE” sign and a five-pointed star emblem over the entrance, p. 7, doubling as the gang’s party hall). Recorded inside this note rather than as a standalone Location.
