Summary

At Enies Lobby’s Island Gate the two giant gatekeepers, Oimo and Kashii, refuse to let the attackers pass, warning them to turn back before they are crushed (pp. 2–4). The giants declare they were born of a warrior tribe whose blood is different from “overgrown pip-squeaks,” and the Franky Family / Galley-La assault force, riding the Yagara bulls and shouting that “Big Bro Franky” is on the other side of the gate, charges in to fight them (pp. 3–9). The “Mighty Destroyers” (the assault group’s heavy craft) are smashed in the blink of an eye (pp. 5–6), but the men hold formation and answer the giants with ship-dismantling rope-and-saw techniques — “Hull Dismantler Slash,” “Timber Hitch Tug,” “Tree Nail Lock” — gradually pinning the giants (pp. 11–15). Inside the fortress the Director (Spandam, unnamed) furiously insists his guards cannot lose and demands an accurate casualty count; the panicked reports climb from “around 400” to “100 more… no, revise that” — Luffy is tearing through the garrison single-handed (pp. 15, 17–18). Word comes that Mr. Lucci’s party has arrived and the Director orders him let in (p. 18). Five minutes after the assault began, the Rocketman (the Sea Train) reaches the Enies Lobby gates, carrying Sogeking (asking how to use the Climate Baton), Sanji, Chopper, the frog Yokozuna, and Zoro, who readies to cut a path through the iron fence — “Leave it to me!!!” (p. 19).
